M22 Posted August 17, 2015 Share Posted August 17, 2015 I love the look of Honda's of the 80's. Honda Prelude (3rd gen) just squeezes in late 80's, but second gen looks neat too. Mugen CRX and last but not least the Accord. This and the RS200 made Group B something else. 1986 Toyota Corolla AE86. I'm forever wondering why R* decided to only give us a coupe version of the Futo. Nissan Z31 (300ZX MK1). I love both 300ZX's but I always end up leaning more towards the first one, don't know why. 3rd gen Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. I love the Iroc Z and Trans Am equally but I've always liked Pontiac more than Chevy. VW Corrado. I've always really liked these for some reason. WTF is on the hood of that R32 in the back . He could've kept it the same color as the rest of the car though . The site won't let you post pictures that come from certain websites, you're best just looking for an eligible one off of google images. This Venturi Coupe 260 SPC barely makes it as an "80s" car, but it's too cool not to post. From what I could understand (the only info I found is in French), it sports a turbocharged 2.8L V6, managing 300 ft lbs of torque. ARC8_1982 Posted September 3, 2015 Share Posted September 3, 2015 I like cars of the 1980s, in my opinion, it was the last decade when design actually meant something, and designers were free to express their visions. Since 1990s things have changed, for worse of course, one of the main reasons might be fact that cars are designed with cold bytes of a computer, instead of warm and passionate heart of a designer. Mine is probably the only one here with steelies like this. Notice the absence of the counterweights on the outside of the wheels ? I balanced the rims as if they were alloys: The weights are all on the inside. I drove is yesterday from Chemnitz, near the German-Czech border to our garage, about 500kms and I must say that it drove like a new car. Not bad going for 31 years, ehh ?
