You can get this set up done with over 5 minutes left with the helicopter

Works on 360, i dont know about other consoles and it sometimes doesnt spawn if all of you go there

Maybe because all they can see is a checkpoint and instruction, some people are not smarter than a NPC, i swear.

Ok. First of all. How dafuq did you get the chopper? (yea I saw your answer, a random don't) How long did it take you to get that chopper? You weren't doing anything productive while driving to find the chopper then back to your teammates, I can tell ya that. How do I know you ain't guna crash land the chopper at the objective. There's lots of reasons when you think about it. Especially since the chopper option is obviously not well known and seems like 1 guy doing nothing just to save Avi at the end and think you're the heist hero...

This. There are so many instances where there are faster routes than the highlighted route suggested, yet people always follow the highlighted GPS route to a tee. That said, I've had a lot more success so far today with randoms than I did last week.

I actually tell them to get in the chopper, I tell them you don't need to get on those sea sharks. I can get the chopper and get to the Island just as they arrive at the sea sharks.

Just completed a flawless run through all the setups and finale (except for getting dropped 3 times by the servers). Was running with friends so gave a 25/25/25/25 split. I have a feeling tonight will be much more time/cost effective and satisfying than trying for a 55/15/15/15 with randumbs.

Also what reason is there for Vans to be hosted on normal or easy? Do we really need more than 1 life? How f*cking hard is the easiest setup second to fleeca scope out?

 

AGREED. I was playing yesterday and we failed Vans mission THREE TIMES because of idiot randoms who didn't know how to use Trackify and/or signal the driver. Ended up just driving around until time ran out.

It's double. Normally the setups pay like 25000 on hard.

Ok, I am going to go away and do some work with some old videos, I have a suspicion the RP/$$$ that applies to missions is also applying

to the Pacific Standard Setup's/Finales but I've not played any yet due to being at work.

 

I will report back a bit later with some video evidence.

We all got $625k

 

Only had a 3 star wanted level for some reason

 

Potential overall take was $2.5m even though when you are taking the money in the bank it only goes up to $1.25m

ok, so I did it with a friend a 2 randoms, on hard, 25% cut, final reward = 625K.

 

btw, idk if is bugged or something. but we didn't loose any money, the guy with the money died a few times after the bikes. And he has been hit.

 

the kuruma thing, i was able to buzz other player into my apt, no the one is next to the bikes, go to the garage and both get in the kuruma.

Helicopter method doesn't waste any time: I always overtake the Seasharks on the way to the island, and then land on the far side, away from the main group of cops. Might take a few bullets, but with a heavy vest it doesn't matter. Then you just take off with Avi, lose the cops, and land in Grapeseed, without all the messing around in the canyon with Police boats etc.

 

It does make you wonder if there are "secret" helicopters hidden around the map for other heist missions; when you're with other people you can't really go off searching "just in case".

Already seen a few idiots. Drivers in Vans who insist on following me (navigator) and constantly crashing into the vans. Hey drivers, you can just idle in that set up.

 

in Signal, I park the helicopter, tell them all to get in..they don't. I fly off to the island and I see one of them killed themselves.

Park the chopper ? You mean buzzard ?

 

No. There's a ambulance helicopter that spawns on top of the cop station. I usually get in that and fly off to the island. No need to even use the sea sharks. You get Avi and fly to the drop off. Chopper only holds four so one person can just dick around on the island.

Done this heist 2 times already so far on hard. Both times the payout was 2.5 million. On PS3

I have four Kurumas in the garage near PacStandard.

 

This, this is smart.

 

I just finished playing PacStandard, twice, with one guy being on the grew both times.

 

I kept my Kuruma at the garage as well, and the first time around, the two other players didn't take the hint and went off on there own, even though I told them the plan. They died, but got it right the next time.

 

Second time around went as smooth as possible, nobody ever died in the setups, no restarts, did the finale again, 40-20-20-20 split, plus bonus.

 

I'm now 3 million dollars richer

 

 

And you see, I always like this. I have never even seen why people see this as a "glitch." It's not. Nearly every set up in every heist has Lester/Agent 14/Trevor/Ron, whoever saying "Do it this way or do it this way or do it some other other way, just get it done." There are only a few exceptions, such as the Fleeca finale, and that has both logical OOC reasons (it's a training heist) and logical IC reasons (In Fleeca, you're not really the host (Lester is) who has hired you to fill out a heist crew consisting of the two players, (who would be in SP listed as a driver and a gunner), Paige (hacker) and Eddie (driver).

 

Otherwise to me, grabbing Kurumas for the Pac finale is no different than parachuting out the helicopter in Coke, driving to the spawn point in Hack, speed-running Valkyrie instead of fighting your way through, etc.
