2x RP and GTA$ Pacific Standard Confirmed

Recommended Posts

Awesome, a week that's going to consist of this

Waiting on friends > one friend either dies or quits > find a friend or crew member that isn't useless > restart > servers kick me

Finished Pac Standard, the money carrier was shot and killed several times but the value representing the cash being carried never dropped.

Funny I was gonna comment on this in my earlier post but was waiting for confirmation.

R* seriously what's going on?

Double everything and now no penalties on PS?

Actually I hope it's not true. I am looking forward to "normal times" again in GTAO. When we have these double money events, I feel forced to do them whether I like them or not, as it probably means that we will get a new DLC package with very expensive items very soon.

I might be wrong..but haven't you posted a week ago something like "nobody forces you to play heists"? If that was really you, this is funny. Anyways, I was pretty happy when this event started and now I just want it to be over. People could ignore Series A, but Pac Stan, hell no, all the invites and messages, all the excuses I have to find. There's always someone who wants to play and needs the money.

The setups are maybe the best for double money, except for Convoy, everything can be done with randumbs pretty easy.

But... I was sooo damn bored of Pac Stan before that 2x money thing started and this week won't change that.

I just bought the Swift Deluxe to get drunk and crash it into noobs after that...I still can purchase 4-5 useless aircrafts, but I got everything else. Even a 4th garage could be filled easily and I`m still loaded with legit money. The expensive updates are already out. This event is nice - for poor noobs - but even they all got their T20s, Hydras and stuff in the end.

I don't like the speculation on expensive things to come. People complained about IGG prices, they got 2x money in exchange and that's it. Mansions are a very stupid idea and even more useless than the Titan is. A new supercar? The T21 for 3,5 mil that is exactly 0,1 mph faster than the T20? All pretty unlikely.

The only thing that certainly will be added is the stunt races category, because it has already been added but with no content.

Two new heists and a new CM challenge - then I will replay the heists and have something like fun. Unlimited garage space and I would see a point in grinding. But this is not going to come, so I think I got to do something really crazy, like playing tennis for fun or rob stores.

All you mansion/yacht/hangar doubters still think something like that will never happen? I mean come on think about it. What else would make R* throw all this double money around for a month? It's either that, or they're getting ready to move on from gta 5. You decide.

 Already seen a few idiots. Drivers in Vans who insist on following me (navigator) and constantly crashing into the vans. Hey drivers, you can just idle in that set up.

in Signal, I park the helicopter, tell them all to get in..they don't. I fly off to the island and I see one of them killed themselves.

The issue that I have is not necessarily that I feel the need to farm the game for money - I like the game - but I think my fear is not necessarily that the next DLC will be extremely expensive but that the next DLC will be extremely expensive .... for yet another sportscar or just because a lowrider has hydraulics it will be $2.5M or something ridiculous.

If the reason why this money event is happening is because R* somehow changed their ways on money - even if for a little while - great.

If the reason why this money event is happening is because R* is going to bring mansions or some other major in-game thing that players want (casino, etc) - great.

If the reason why this money event is happening is because R* is going to continue charging more and more ridiculous prices for the same kinds of things - bleh.

No. There's a ambulance helicopter that spawns on top of the cop station. I usually get in that and fly off to the island. No need to even use the sea sharks. You get Avi and fly to the drop off. Chopper only holds four so one person can just dick around on the island.

So does that kuruma glitch still work? How do you force everyone into the garage/apartment?

You don't. Everyone who has this apartment is a noob. You waste precious garage space to make virtual money and the only real reason to make that virtual money is to spend it on your 30 cars. But you don't have 30 cars when you have this apartment. Usually, people only got their Kuruma inside. This method works only in 50% of the attempts. So usually you waste money and time by trying it. You could walk or drive like ten meters and just get a cop car. You arrive in the same time, you don't lose any money either.

I played this heist soo many times. Randumbs always want to get in their Kuruma. Always. It always fails on the first attempt. There is no reason to do this. It is not even a glitch, since apartment and garage access is open for heists and missions. It is just stupid and on the same level as shooting hostages for riot vans is.

Kuruma randumbs also always insist on a restart if you lose 15k, which is 3k for them. Best thing is to ignore them and their messages.

GTA V hasn't even reached it's second birthday yet

Exactly. Pretty sure you can rule out that as the reason. Think they're throwing around all this money for some new cars? Doubt it. It's something big. Like big ass house, or big ass boat big.

Again, for the comprehension challenged, I'm not saying it's mansions etc, but it's got to be something comparable, and my money would be on at least mansions coming.

You can. I don't have this apartment but I have two 6 car garage apartments and I have 30 cars. They're just in storage.

I always prefer the armoured truck method anyway. Trigger the alarm, everyone gets into the truck, the one carrying the money either drives or sits at the front and then just take the freeway past Chumush to the dinghy. I keep the full amount this way.

Noose aren't that much harder to kill when you're wearing the utility vest either.

CrysisAverted

I just drive to my eclipse towers, unless I get unlucky and a f*cking cop spawns right as I arrive at the door im golden, if a cop does spawn I just go to my next apartment which is close or I go to the canyon

great a level 1 joined out heist setup

For me, randoms always leave. On 'Vans', when I'm navigator, I already know the 4 routes of the vans so I rush to them, while one of the drivers always insists on the headset "Hey idiot, I'M suppossed to drive you. That dumbass is gonna mess everything up" *driver left*

On 'Signal' I drive past the Seasharks, that are on the minimap and I always hear "Where is he going? God damn, that's gonna take ages!" *player left*

On 'Hack' I rush to the alley to kill everybody before the van gets there. "GET IN THE VAN MOTHERf*ckER!" *player left*

It's like they don't wanna make $ fast, they need more time to put on their mask, so they feel like a real heist crew :D

My crewmate, RavingWithJesus, and I found these two randoms who were literally a god send. They were so good and knew what they were doing, from the beginning. When it came to doing the set-up where you steal the Burrito, one went to pick it up, the rest of us, we all went, in an armored Kuruma, to clean out all the enemies. By the time we were done, the Burrito was right on point. When it came to the finale, it was set on Hard, we managed to walk out with the full $1.2+ million. One of the randoms had the apartment with an armored Kuruma and it was smooth sailing after that. Ugh, if only, this happened always.
