Almost at 20 mil, I hope that will be enough if R* is going to drop a expensive dlc.

At about 8.5 mil. Finishing Criminal Mastermind tomorrow though so I will be around 20 mil.

I believe Rockstar has something up their sleeve. Why give all this money now? It just doesn't add up with the way they have previously handled things.

Managed to save up 6mil, not much but that was my goal.

Was gonna waste all that hard earned cash on a T20 but nah, let's see what Rockstar''ll have to offer us before I even think about doing so.

Finally reached 30 million.

And I started to park my chopper up on the hill right by the drop to the boats. If I'm still the only one at the island after the cops are dead. It makes getting to it and still "helping" Avi easier as I don't have to walk far then have to try and get whoever stole him inside.

And to those who take jets.... military still spawns or no?

either they have something good and expensive on their hands or they are about to move into other projects and this is their way of thanking us for sticking around.

either way, they have been acting really strange in the past few months, this 24days of 2X events just adds fuel to the fire!

As for this "no excuse" thing, you can only own 3 properties so buying this flat means you can't own as many cars, $120k is closer to 5 setups under normal pay outs (not that I care, haven't needed money since doing the very easy mastermind challenge) and most importantly..........it is not the best flat to own to use the kuruma method

<snip>

It's also safer than waiting around while cops spawn all around the bike spawn

I overlooked this post but can't let it slide.
To clarify this, the house near the bikes has a garage for 6 cars. So in a worst case scenario you can't access 4 cars out of 30. And those cars aren't gone, you can still select them for races. And afterwards if you buy a house with a 10-car garage those cars are back.
Also, if you already own 3 houses that means you get a discount when you buy this one. I paid $60k for it.
And how is that house not the best house? It's 15 feet away from the bikes! And there's no rule everybody has to enter the house too. Only the guy with the kuruma has to get in so he gets the car. Once outside the rest of team can just hop in.
As for the cops preventing to enter the house? Simple, suicide. That's much faster than waiting.

I don't care about 4 cars but others do, I don't care about $120 - 60K but others do, and is still at least 3 setups under normal payouts. I also mentioned that money was not an issue to me, but messing around buying and selling per heist does not appeal to me at all

As I said, in the part you cut, it isn't the best house because it is not the quickest, easiest, most consistent property to gain access to and leaves the team exposed in an area where cops are spawning,

They cannot "just hop in" pv's remain locked till, roughly, out of the city. This is common knowledge

Each player must be in the garage either by walking in or the owner selecting enter with friends or whatever it is.Using the flat next to the construction site allows you to shake the cops then enter below street level meaning cops would have to be directly behind you to prevent entry (entry in governed by line of sight as I'm sure you're aware)

Any method where suicide during a heist is a suggestion is ,blatantly, deeply flawed

So you're right there is "no excuse" but there are some valid reasons

All of this was explained in my post that you, for some reason, cut. Most just use a spoiler tag instead of taking things out of context. I'm sure it wasn't done intentionally but you cut out most of my explanation and just left in the opening statements that do appear ill informed (which they most certainly are not) without the explanation

I don't wish to insult or argue with strangers on the internet but your post contained statements that were flat out wrong only apply to ps3 and would not help most other users. No disrespect intended, on my part and I hope on yours, but you have taken what I said out of context, then responded to it making a straw man argument

I'm also getting really sick of this debate, to the point that I am beyond caring anymore

My, and others, whole point is this

The bikes, combined with the right route, not shooting and braking provides

A consistent, quick and easy method

Doesn't bring the cops to the boat, where you are the most exposed and have no choice but to use the boat

Doesn't require "mad bike skills" mic's or heavy armour

Doesn't force you to wait around in the city with a 5 star wanted level

Is more interesting than sitting in the back of a car

Can produce a perfect take

Avoids police almost entirely

Doesn't add more, and more aggressive cops

Before you start losing your mind and tearing this apart this is all proven and works time and again click the link in my sig and read / watch

I have a new, better than the one I have up now, video to post too but sadly, it shows a full take and at present, I have no way of proving that it's over a month old. Some people are pathetic enough to lie about a videogame and me saying I'm not (because I'm not) isn't good enough for some

If anyone has any ideas on verifying this let me know

i dont know in other consoles but on ps3 this is not the case...

in more than one occasion the crew waited for me at the bikes, i when on my apartment, which is next to the bikes, got my kuruma, pick them up at the bikes place and when on to the boat.

hmmm to bad to see all those ppl havin trouble with randoms

i added all people from this forum that were listed and were vouched for or i knew were good from hearing about them and then tried to get them all involved in some chat....

and god, besides crappy cockstar servers and the sh*t you can not avoid, things are just going great.

never woud have guesed it woud run all so smooth :)

just a whole chat atleast half full with good players, what more do you need :p

Ahh, if you're on PS3, I think I was invited to that chat by Rmptebow, but I saw nobody was texting or anything, so after minute or something, I left.

meh, coud be im not the only one, and it knows some quit moments that chat to....

that being said, atm its booming.....in the wrong way though.

seems like during the time i left some asshole that comes from gtaforums and is in the chat killed someone after a set-up.

On 360 you are not allowed to enter another's PV outside of their garage during the heist. When someone tries, it gives a blue message "you do not have access to this players personal vehicle. 👎

Never heard that ps3 allows unlocked pv's will edit accordingly

Tbf it's a bit random and I've seen everyone get in kurumas outside that apartment on Xbox one this last week as I sped off on the bike but it's more not guaranteed to allow access unless you buzz everyone into your garage Edited by Halal Cyborg

Last night (on PS4) we all got into the Kuruma in the garage. As soon as ae drove out, we were kicked from the vehcile with that familiar blue message. The we just got back in the car no problem. Doors were unlocked.

Idk if this helps but it def happened on PS4 last night.

as recent as last night, this guy didnt follow me into my apartment, so i got my car and pick him up from outside my garage as he was fighting the cops.

I've (been forced) to try it many times and never seen it work, perhaps those randumbs weren't that stupid after all

But the most important thing in any method is consistency

That's the main reason why I use the bikes and prefer them to the other methods, and why I don't bring up the jet skis!

The other reason is fun

i dont know, i just make sure to have vehicle access set to "everyone" before launching the finale, never had an issue picking up crew members from outside the garage or around the city.

Every time I have tried vehicle access has always been set to everyone Edit - can't be 100% on that due randumbs that may not have read or understood instruction (got to keep the nit pickers happy!)

I think it's a glitch, or bug either way it's not consistent

This could be it. Mine is just set to 'passengers', as is a lot of people's... so people can get in but I don't get some [email protected] trying to hijack me.

This should be the fix.

As for the Kuruma, I've tried getting it with a wanted level, which is not always easy.

If you take the bikes and someone gets wasted, when you spawn back at the front of the alley where the bikes are you don't have a wanted level for a brief window.

That is when you go for the Kuruma and you get into the garage without any sort of problem.

However, when you get in, you get that "out of bounds" message. Get into the Kuruma and drive out. Drive around to the bikes. Everyone gets on the bikes and you get the "head to the canyon". After everyone's been on a bike and gotten the "head to the canyon", then you can all get into the Kuruma.

On PS3 you dont have to buzz anyone into your garage, they dont even need to be close, just tell them to fend off the cops, you walk into your apt, head to garage then drive out.

Sometimes you wont be able to walk in for about 15 seconds but keep trying.

Easy peesy.

Heck, you dont even need the Las lagunas apt...I always tell everyone to follow me to my Alta 3 no 10 apt, next to the construction site.

I never use the bikes ever.

the only thing that sucks is the fact that the jet "vanishes" once the Avi cutscene start. the guy in the jet, spawns back at the island.

atleast that the case on ps3

Any method where suicide during a heist is a suggestion is ,blatantly, deeply flawed

I almost feel sorry for saying this but again I only quoted that part of your post that's relevant for my reply. People that want to read your whole post can just click on the arrow.
With that said, I play on the PC and never had any trouble going in the garage alone, get my car and then let the team hop in once I've left the garage. And when other players used this method I always could get in their car too without problems. Apparently this also works on the PS3. Don't know about the X1/PS4 version but those are more or less the same as the PC version so I assume it also works on those platforms.
If you play on the X360 I obviously understand your earlier reaction.
Now, about the suicide thing. You say any method involving suicide is flawed. I disagree because suicide is just quicker than waiting for some1 to get killed. In the end it's all the same where we simply start all over at a certain waypoint. For me that's not flawed but merely more effecient than waiting until the inevitable fail happens.
And I've seen hosts suicide when a hostage was killed in the bank. Or when their bike was destroyed during the chase. Or when they drove their car into the lake. Or when some1 was so far behind it was clear the timer would run out before he made it into the boat.
In some of those situations suicide was a bit premature and I would never have done it myself. But when I join a setup/heist I follow the host. If they want to suicide to avoid NOOSE that's fine by me.
Anyway, the event is about to end and that means I will sell the house near the bikes. It was a great investment though and helped me make over $18 million in less than a week. But I'm pretty sure I won't host this heist with randoms again in a long, long time.
