If you want to have some extra fun in the Signals setup, there's a jet in Fort Zancudo you can steal. So if you got the chopper all the pilot has to do is let you jump into the base. And then you can use the jet to destroy cop heli's in Grapeseed.

Definitely beats waiting on the island :)

I've noticed that the NPC controlled Cargobob spawns during that setup, sometimes even on the landing pads in the back of the base.

Leads me to wonder.....just for sh*ts & giggles...

One player steals the Cargobob if it spawns landed at the helipads, then airlifts the boat which has the other players & Avi.

HOw much runs have you guys done so far?

I've done 2 per day untill friday and doing my first run of today.

Did three PS finales today. 20, 20, and 25%. Add in 8 or so setup missions, some Fleeca finales and a weekly Daily Objective bonus and today was a very profitable day.

Since this started I've made about $7M (including Daily Objectives, selling gang cars, and some minor stuff)

I have a feeling that R* may patch PacStandard by disallowing players to enter their apartments to retrieve PVs. In a foreseeable future, that is.

Won't matter to skilled players. The kuruma method is obviously easy but you can get to the dinghy in a regular cop car nearly as quick and safe with the heavy vest and having plenty of snacks.

I never needed my own Kuruma just to get through the Heist. Just a good car and excellent driving skills are sufficient enough.

Is this The Guy?

How can you tell if you're getting an invite to a finale or getting an invite to the planning room for setups?

The finale has a description of it on the invite. The others have just "Pacific Standard Heist" or whatever.

Another profitable day with around 4-5 runs. At 19 million, should be over 20 million by tomorrow. Thanks to those on the forums that have been grinding with me!

Red Lynx 23

Made it back up to seventeen point two million, after my account dropped to three and change after IGG2. If I make it to eighteen million tomorrow, that'll be the most legit money I'd earned. My record is seventeen something.

As for this "no excuse" thing, you can only own 3 properties so buying this flat means you can't own as many cars, $120k is closer to 5 setups under normal pay outs (not that I care, haven't needed money since doing the very easy mastermind challenge) and most importantly..........it is not the best flat to own to use the kuruma method

<snip>

It's also safer than waiting around while cops spawn all around the bike spawn

I overlooked this post but can't let it slide.
To clarify this, the house near the bikes has a garage for 6 cars. So in a worst case scenario you can't access 4 cars out of 30. And those cars aren't gone, you can still select them for races. And afterwards if you buy a house with a 10-car garage those cars are back.
Also, if you already own 3 houses that means you get a discount when you buy this one. I paid $60k for it.
And how is that house not the best house? It's 15 feet away from the bikes! And there's no rule everybody has to enter the house too. Only the guy with the kuruma has to get in so he gets the car. Once outside the rest of team can just hop in.
As for the cops preventing to enter the house? Simple, suicide. That's much faster than waiting.

I can confirm the cargobob flies above the base in daytime. But I've done the setup 3 times now in daytime and never was there a cargobob on the helipad. I did notice another jet though, so that makes 2 jets in total.

Zoots Remuvah

Wish I had the time to make serious money, but I don't alas..

Tho saying that I've made 10M but blew a fair bit on a Z type and Stinger GT..

Might try to cram a couple of heists in today so I can get back over 10M again.. :/

Gonna have to give that a go.

Used to do the same for "Boat in the Bay" back in the day.

Yeah, using a car is definitley safer, but I have absoultely no trouble using the bikes. Idk why people think it is so hard. Just watch where you are going instead of staring at the minimap.

I'm actually doing Criminal Mastermind today lol.

I don't know why some of you guys are "mic elitists". I did this heist a couple of days ago with BK and some other players with no mics and we had little to no problems doing the whole run.

i added all people from this forum that were listed and were vouched for or i knew were good from hearing about them and then tried to get them all involved in some chat....

and god, besides crappy cockstar servers and the sh*t you can not avoid, things are just going great.

never woud have guesed it woud run all so smooth :)

just a whole chat atleast half full with good players, what more do you need :p

Ahh, if you're on PS3, I think I was invited to that chat by Rmptebow, but I saw nobody was texting or anything, so after minute or something, I left.

I can't disagree with you however, was playing last night and it's crazy how the AI can cheat sometimes when your on a bike. Was cruising past a cop car when it got super sonic speed from behind and rammed me all the way off the mountain to my death. Other than that it's easy to use the bike.

if u get randoms dying on the bikes and refusing to use a car, just get to the alley first and blow them up. that wont fail the heist but will force everyone to use cars...

Damn I wish I knew earlier about stealing a jet in the Signals setup. Not only it's much more fun but now even randoms can't fail it anymore. All they have to do is take Avi in the boat to the lake while the guy in the jet kills the cop heli's and boats.

Armored Kuruma or not, Always managed it to get to the boat with the right people :)

The big + on the Kuruma for me is that I don't drive it so I can eat something or grab a drink without needing to rush it :p
