Two final days for this and I'm at 15.5 million. Going to try to get to 20 million at least this weekend and then I should be set for the new DLC.

I did it with a team last night, no failures on any setups, until Bikes. IMO the second easiest setup. I don't see the issue. 5 times later, we finally pass.

Then the finale, omg the finale. The dudes are way over generous and give me 35%. They refuse to just take the bikes. They want to use the boat, or their PV, or take crazy routes. I take the Lectro and beat them there, every, single, time. We never make it. Tried 11 times.

People, here are the steps to passing.

Take the Bikes

SPREAD OUT- this is the most important thing. It keeps the roadblocks from spawning.

Take your time. Don't be afraid to slow down to go around something. Crashing takes longer.

And yeah, Kuruma method is probably safer, but many people don't have that apt or don't know that is possible.

When players constantly fail the Bikes setup use the other method. Which is, after you got the bikes leave them and get back into the kuruma. Then drive towards the bank where there's a roadblock of the Lost.
Destroy the roadblock and drive back to the clubhouse. You'll be swarmed with bikers and vans but you're all in the kuruma so no worries. After you killed them jump on the Lectro's and drive to the drop-off point. Even the biggest bike noob can do that.
As for the finale, there's no way I do bikes when players earlier failed the setup. Most people can't drive bikes *at all*. Maybe I give them a few retries but if they don't listen and use the house/kuruma thing then I'm out. Screw the money, it's not worth the time to wait 11 retries, lol.
And there's no excuse for not having the house near the bikes. It costs maybe $120k? That's a joke, 2 setups and they can buy it.

The bike setup is the easiest heist setup. Just kill the lost, steal a Lectro, drive fast, and use Keers-boost when the Lost arrive in vans and so on..

Guys, you can kick low level randoms. If their stats and level arent good, select view joined players, select the player you dont want and kick him. My fail rate has dropped dramatically since. I know some ppl dont like the wait but its faster than starting, failing then having someone leave.

Im grinding hard these last two days. If you wanna make money on 360, add me: GT: DopiestOdin421

Yeah right. Tell that to the rank 90 guy that keeps crashing into traffic or a wall. I mean, what's easy for you can be really really hard for some1 else.
So if players keep failing that setup you can do 2 things. Either kick them and restart the setup which takes 5~10 minutes. Or do what I wrote earlier. Which in way is more fun because everybody likes shooting from the kuruma.
And after you completed the setup you can always decide if you invite that player for the finale.

I thought people couldn't get in your Kuruma in the finale? I just did one in my Kuruma and spotted someone who'd lost his bike, I stopped by him and he just got in.

I would, I really would, but no one here seems to play PC, cause I posted both in this topic and made my own topic the "Find Lobbies and Players" subforum this morning, and I've gotten no friend requests so far, and I'm completely done playing with randoms....total haul after over 5 hours playing combined, 300k....yeah...I'm done..

There seems to be some of sort of time or distance after which you can pick people up, but I've never seen it quantified.

.

And there's no excuse for not having the house near the bikes. It costs maybe $120k? That's a joke, 2 setups and they can buy it.

The most important thing is the route*, the right route and you won't see cops**, let alone roadblocks. Of course I'm not suggesting you bunch up too much, that could cause horrific / hilarious accidents, but you should keep each other in sight, one guy tearing off up front just spawns cops that those behind have to deal with.

Not sure if that's what you meant but when you get people that tear off ahead, alone, making it harder for the rest, then have the cheek to bitch that they're waiting, oblivious to the fact they made things harder for the team and that they can't leave till the whole team gets there it really annoys me

The take your time thing is bang on I like to change the radio and approach it as a sunday afternoon ride in the country, as is using the kuruma during the later half of bikes setup, although it isn't always needed if you ignore the line and head straight then right from the lost compound

As for this "no excuse" thing, you can only own 3 properties so buying this flat means you can't own as many cars, $120k is closer to 5 setups under normal pay outs (not that I care, haven't needed money since doing the very easy mastermind challenge) and most importantly..........it is not the best flat to own to use the kuruma method

The best one to own is the one south of there next to the construction site with the downward ramp entrance to the garage. Simply jump on the bikes, head through the construction site to shake the cops, then head down the ramp, below street level, to get in first time, every time***

It's also safer than waiting around while cops spawn all around the bike spawn

in before "butz u haz 2 ridz da bikz" it's a short distance along near empty, wide streets, it isn't hard at all

*see link in sig for map and vid of route

**nit picking add on you will see cops at a distance and in the sky but the 2 areas you may have to deal with them you will have ample time to observe, plan and react.......had to put that in to prevent "I iz ridingz ur routez nd i seez da copz in da chopperz yo u dontz know da shizzle"

***not my method was shown to me by gridlok

When it comes to car v bike, I can understand a hosts hesitance to bikes. If I have a money bag and the host suggests a car, I'll get in the car. If I'm crowd control, I'll go for a bike unless the car is discussed beforehand.

Just made 3 finales today...all on Hard and player saved outfits, except for one douche who gave 15% and made us wear clown suits.Over 2 mill today easy, all setups beat one try.

Kurumas the whole way at the end.

I've yet to finish this thing, now I've been at it only a few hours, because I was playing other games during the week, but i got in a good sessions at first, with a good host, played from the first setup to the last, then one the seemingly competent lower ranks screwed up miserably on the finale, so he kicked everyone and invited me and the other lower rank back, then a real dumbass, joined, and we payed for it again, then the remaining low rank from the setups started making weird demands so the host kicked him as well, then we got a string of non English speaking guys joining the lobby, and then the host just gave up and quit.

Since then....it's all setups that either don't finish, in the follow up setup I'm just one of many invited back (no Invite from Previous Heist first) so the lobby is full when I try to connect, just plain the lobby is full when trying to connect to a new one, or "Unable to connect to game session".

Honestly I've got half a mind to just say "f*ck it, I'm gonna play some TERA/SWTOR/whatever else I feel like", and just cut my losses and walk away from all these 2x Heists with nothing really to show for it, and just farm RR till my eyes bleed when I need money, and I feel like playing....and I really don't want to do that.

Rockstar gave you a loooong time to find 3 friends.

It's in the post you quoted yourself

I play PC

Oh I totally agree that part is my fault, especially since i've been playing since PC launch.

I don't play GTAO exclusively, and for a good number of months I've played other games, also none of my online friends from other games like or even own GTA5 so I can't rely on them, and I'm rather poor in the department of making new friends (really poor), also since I play so many different online games I often don't bother finding new people to play with, or clans/guilds/crews/fleets/squadrons to join.

But yes, I could have had a bunch of friends to play with by now, and a basically chose not to, and now that's biting me in the ass.

There is no roadblock if you just take the better route. f*ck that yellow line. Go straight through the park, jump down to the road below, cross the bridge and go to the alley. 2 bikes will spawn, one as soon as you jump down to the road, and one more when you cross the bridge. Easy as pie. No vans at all.

No excuse not to have the house? What? How about those of us that have been playing since day one with 30 cars already? Those of us that dislike the Kuruma and don't own one. I'm not sacrificing garage space so people won't die.

There is no reason, at all, to use anything but the bikes on the finale.

As for sticking with the crew, they are friends, can't just leave your buds. They weren't randoms.

New pants required immediately. Yes. We passed. Idiot drove a car with punctured tyres and decided to walk the last half of the journey. Luckily drove the boat upstream to meet him.

I have no idea how we passed this.

This really is next to impossible with randoms.

You end up wasting half the day with failure after failure.

Hell I haven't even once been on the bikes yet, I can't even get the randoms to GET PAST THE ALLEYWAY.

PC Finale fail factors:

-Randoms, no communication

-Low levels, noobs with little health not to mention trolls

-No bullet proof vest

Elemenate these and you should be fine

Disturbing trend I've been noticing, especially with the 2X Pac Standard heists. I'll help out on 3, or more of the setups, and get snubbed for the Finale. Messaging the host asking him what gives, and they either ignore you, or reply with a F*** Off.

I guess the real question is why would you not want a helpful heist crew member for your finale, and reload with all new randumbs? Don't tell me they all get butthurt cause I either Gold, or Platium on all the setups.

Its because they don't want to pay you 20%... The host can get a new set of randumbs that will agree to 15% thats probably why.

HOW MANY TIMES DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE AT THE BOAT

Or worst yet, they drive the boat up on to the shore when all they had to do was calmly drive away!
