Maybe get a demo... the longevity of the game isnt great though the main missions do last ages. its the fact that afterwards in free roaming all u can do is drive around, get some cool secret cars (more later) and shoot people. no buildings to go in, not even open buildings fro the main missions. so after youve completed the game theres not much to do - the secret cars own! go-kart! nissan skyliner! TVR Lotus Lotus elise Tank! caddy And perhaps some more, i dunno Anyway.....I loved it, but like i say - get a demo. hotFDLC Posted January 23, 2003 Share Posted January 23, 2003 The getaway is "pretty", but it lacks in the replay value. Also, it doesn't give as much as VC. I played the demo and spent 5 mins standing up against a wall to regain health and didn't get a single bit back. Demo exited the game on it's own cuz i wasn't playing. If it takes that long to to something like that, imagine what else you have to go through which only takes a single icon in VC. Considering the play that I've had, I WON'T be getting the getaway. And of course i was blown away, the getaway got a 6.9 from gamespot and i cant remember but a very let down score from ign also, i rented the getaway and they were correct, it gets boring after a while, i would stick with the gta series, but its my opinion, and u could do watever u want Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It takes 10 seconds to regain all ur health, exagerating a lil eh? 10 seconds - 5 minutes...almost the same thing. Dont try and put people off because you dont like it.
