MIXAZZZ
Short: Startup new project, produced in one dev: Title - iDeal The essence of the project - the idealism and perfectionism. Content - Map ONLY. Contents of content - Beautiful and interesting places in my opinion, that represent a certain image of the ideal places on earth to live. Volumes - Initially, the map a small amount, to finish building in the development process of the project. Timing - Download will be at any time, a link will be only one - my dropbox, which will always be valid version. Interference: Another Interference IRL: http://ibigdan.livejournal.com/16981625.html https://goo.gl/maps/KUET3 https://goo.gl/maps/CDuRH https://goo.gl/maps/rFD0r http://city4people.ru/ http://varlamov.ru/tag/Городская%20среда --------------------------------------------- RU Topic +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ # 1 tip for newbies - how to make a realistic profile of the river bed. Uses 3 texture (bottom, coastline, coastal scrub). UV texture coastline is made so that you can calm coastal bluffs flattened in a shallow base, without losing this scan. This is important, because in turn channel the outer coast is flatter and the inner deeper. I mean, why does the first letter is lowercase, and the second is capital? Is this reference to Apple?
Nihilist.
Great work. I love the railing. Other thing is, I see absolutely no reason to add so many useless polys on the bridge - not only they make the model heavier and harder to handle by the game (yeah, I know, it doesn't make a huge difference now, but imagine 100 objects in the scene, every single one of them with so many unnecessary polygons), but people actually won't see any difference. You could make this curve with just few polys and I guarantee you that people wouldn't notice it's not high poly. I mean, how many polys does it have? About 20 maybe. Now, let's multiply it by two, because rectangles can be divided into triangles, again by 2, because this element has two sides and now, multiply the result by 8, because there's 8 of these objects. We get 640 polys. As I said before, it doesn't make a huge difference, but come on, you easily could have achieved very similar looks with 1/3 of it. You've reached the point where another additions of polys won't be noticeable, at all. In fact, they wouldn't be even with 5-6 polys, though. I wish you luck - you certainly have experience with modeling and you know how to create good looking models. But you really have to find the ballance between quality and geometry optimization, because that also defines a precise, competent model. Edited August 3, 2015 by TheD. Hi, I will consider, I have it right, i use the correct distance and drawing LOD's.And my geometry is low weight, compared with a polygonal model in GTA V. --------------------- It should be better quality than CRR ? universetwisters
Any News What ? office supply ? My guess is that there'll be a part in the map when you get shrunken down to the size of a toy car and have to drive around a desk. That would be mighty fine.
