Not sure if this has been mentioned, but one of the new masks is totally ripped off from They Live.

There's also one from the movie The Strangers, which I made into an outfit.

Too many people are negative about zombies for no good reason at all. Just because other games have them does not make it the same automatically. Games play differently even if they have the same things. resident evil call of duty dead island left 4 dead all have have zombies but they are vastly different. No one seems sick of shooting russians and street thugs.

But I do not know if Zombies could work in GTA online because the guns are overpowered and you can hold too much ammo. It would have to be pistols and melee only or else it would be too easy.

I am all for the flamethrower and more masks.

The flame thrower used to be my favorite gun. That is all I want as a DLC.

Now would be a good time for chainsaws.

If it's going to be customization items i don't even care because that feature in Gta 5 is so dry and boring thanks to R* super realism approach to everything. Everyday T-shirts and jackets are lame no matter how many texture color variants you add. Mask sort of suck too. Let me wear an actual eyeball that's hanging off my skull like RDR's DLC or add flaming motorcycle wheels and I'm sold.

I would rather see new game modes like vampires vs humans, some sort michael myer subject hunt, even coop undead survival would be ok.

Yes, let's. You're complaining about Rockstar's realistic approach to GTA. It's the same approach they've had since the dawn of the 3D era. Exactly zero of the games since GTA 3 have any kind of supernatural, sci fi, futuristic, or otherworldly aspect (except for a silly UFO mission in San Andreas, and some hallucinations and a couple Easter eggs in GTA V). Saints Row gets heavily into this kind of stuff; GTA doesn't. You want them to change. They're probably not going to. Hence the advice I am giving you: you're playing the wrong series if you ever think you'll get anything other than a fairly down-to-Earth, set-in-present-day version of real-life criminal activity. That's what the game is. Online's customization options are already 50% sillier than anything in the single player modes of recent GTA games, but they're still keeping it in a recognizable version of actual reality.

And yes, Red Dead had a supernatural DLC. But it was presented as a standalone experience; you didn't have goofballs on flaming undead horses mixing it up in free roam with regular ol' cowboys. That might be the experience you want, but clearly it's not the one Rockstar wants us to have.

I think you need to go back and re-read carefully because you took that very first one out of context. None was said about anything changing the game into something it's not and no one made a big deal out of the character customization. That was you trying to argue with something that is not there. All that was said was the customization was a bit weak and new game modes would be appreciated. There were many examples giving and you cherry picked one thing and told someone they should play a different game. I think you just had a knee jerk reaction to a negative remark about the customization.

lol just like before, this person is just going to ignore all this.

Put the zombies aside just for the sake of the argument and just look how rockstar patched out the duffle bag and cop uniform glitch.Look at the fact that you do not have the option to remove basic wear like shoes or pants and that's a standard feature for pretty much every game out there. That's not unrealistic at all but yet they wanted to restrict that from the player cusomization, why? No one will ever know because R* logic is too extrinsical.

Anyways it's nice that they looked into a myers type hunt mode but it's kind of lame. It's called "slasher" but you just go after other players with a gun while they try to beat you with flashlights.

It should of been objective based like hunt the beast but reversed with melee only.

I always spawn in the same place over and over in slasher when I'm hunted. It's really annoying when it's some corner with no place to hide.

Hello Velnees,

Thank you for contacting Rockstar Support.

We're sorry to hear that you were having some issues with accessing content from the Halloween DLC.

From about 4:20 AM to 4:50 AM ET (9:20 AM to 9:50 AM GMT) on October 29th, there was a brief issue where the Halloween Surprise Flashlight and Masks were not properly being added to players' inventories. We have since corrected this, and these are working without issue.

We are currently investigating cases for a small group of players who might have purchased these items and did not receive them during that time. R* are unlikely to just give back the money spent on the masks, they'll simply just give them back to the players once they've fixed the current

issue as although it's a big issue they'll be getting hundreds of requests for refunds right now.

It could have been cool if they only gave the slasher a machete and extra speed, but make the hunted unable to defend themselves until the time runs out.

I got the exact same reply and they changed the status of my ticket to 'solved'. Lol. I opened it back up again. It's only two masks that I've lost but I want a refund or my masks back, I don't want palming off with a link to a statement that isn't even accurate. I purchased my masks a lot later than 09:50 GMT.
