Didn't they do that with one of the previous holiday updates...maybe last Christmas...refund the money spent on masks that disappeared after it ended? Not that it proves they'll do it again is time, of course. And it's a big gamble, for some people, to take a chance on buying stuff, not knowing if they'll get their money back.

 

If I recall correctly, last time the money was refunded it was because it wasn't made clear up front that the masks wouldn't last. But it seems they're making it pretty clear up front this time, so maybe they won't do refunds again.

Obvious statement - it won't appear if you're already in a server online, you'll have to Find a New Session or quit out to story mode and come back

online for the content to appear, there's no update file for this one.

I'm having a problem with the masks. After purchasing they just aren't saving to my inventory.

Same! spent $100k+ none of them are there, i've put a support ticket in f*ck this bs!

 

I think I found a fix. When you by a Halloween Mask, money is taken from your bank account. You are then asked, "Would you like to equip this Halloween item now?" Your choices are 'Back' or 'Confirm'. Choose, "Back" and the mask should have a check mark next to it and the mask should be saved into your inventory. It works for me. I'm on PS4.

 

Good find. I will give this a try and see if it works.

Pretty sure the Christmas masks were free, along with all of the clothing.

I rebought all the masks and did not equip them and still have them In my inventory on xbox. Thanks for the work around!

I'm on Xbox one and I switched sessions and everything is still in my inventory. And I did equipped every mask after I bought it and it still stuck for me. Maybe the people that are having the problems are the ones that had the masks before they were supposed to and now the hotfix is bugging the game for them.

you don't have to download an update but the Halloween items are live thanks to the tuneables.

You would know when they post a Newswire article and you would know from the loading screens in game.

slasher mode is pretty fun, have to admit , collected 8 people and started, fun was great, mask are dope, cars are dope, face paints great, horns great, anything else? flashlight is lol.

I'm on PS4 also and Ibought all the masks, they saved.

 

Just click cancel when they ask if you want to wear it. It also sticks across sessions
