If you mean "they" as in Rockstar, then this is not their fault. Blame the guys on twitter that have been leaking the files and also yourself, you set yourself up for your own disappointment. Rockstar also haven't announced the Halloween update either.

b..but R* did add halloween content to people like...ME and Quinn, we didnt ask for it or modded to get them.

 

anyway, the thing is guaranteed to drop sometime this week, just keep calm, be cool!

Yup, just like most events its normally a weekend thing. The reason vday dlc lasted was because of issues.Xmas dlc lasted a week or so because the whole time is considered holiday. also the snow came and went it wasnt available during the whole deal. 4th lasted the weekend. The first speculation was friday-sunday for the halloween dlc. Personally I think that would be more accurate.The 4th was almost the whole month long.

 

Sorry. The original Independence Day update was almost a month long.

Why would it be today? Halloween isn't until Saturday.

 

I reckon this'll be the same as the Festive Surprise. The stuff is already downloaded, just not available. Probably hit midnight on Thursday night/Friday morning and there will be an in-game notification telling us that newq items are available.

Half a month, but events use to last longer, these days not so much. I had already ditched the 360 by then. This years only lasted 6 days. So as I said most events like this only last through the weekend, maybe a couple days more.

The Halloween Surprise is that it doesn't drop until after Halloween. :)
