Marksman Rifle - Noob Tool or Pro Tool?

I'll keep this short and simple.

I've been noticing a lot of people using the Marksman Rifle lately, which is somewhat disappointing.

People will get in sniper battles but someone ALWAYS pulls out the Marksman, which can't zoom but can still cover the distance and can basically be spammed.

With that, the user doesn't have to rely so much on being accurate, just spray and pray and you'll eventually get the kill.

I've used all the snipers extensively and can honestly say the Marksman is by far the easiest to use/get kills with.

 

Thoughts? Opinions? Gripes? Let's see 'em.

It's very much both. It isn't level locked so it's a day one sniper. But it's damage is moderate that you can counter if your high enough level, especially if they are inaccurate. It depends on the situation really on what sniper you use. I have seen me use this more recently only due to the distance people have been engaging me but the heavy sniper still does the job for distant/assassinating targets.

This whole game is noob tool for PvP. You can pull 25 RPGs out of your ass at any time.

It levels the playing field for lower level characters who get one-shotted by the Heavy Sniper. I've appreciated it on the alt I'm currently leveling up.

People That Usually Use The Marksman Rifle Usually Do The Cha-Cha Slide (They Move Left And Right While In A Gun Fight) and Get The Kill. I've Noticed That Rockstar Has Made Buffs To The Marksman Rifle and Nerfs To The Heavy Sniper, This Makes The Heavy Sniper Look Weak and Puny To The Marksman Rifle. People Are Making Expireanced Snipers Look Like Scrubs With The Marksman Rifle Because They Don't Stand Still And Dance Instead Of Standing Still.

I stick with the heavy all the way. I just prefer that one shot kill power as opposed to spamming the Marksman like a DMR, which is what it really is.

 

I just think people who think they're "snipers" while using that are an absolute joke, they just spray rounds until they hit their target, no precision or leading required.
