Can somebody tell me why this happens?

So I completely rebooted my modem/router combo this morning by hitting the pinhole in the back. My Xbox has been set at a specific IP Address and I set that address up as a static lease in my network admin page. Once I did that I set it as the DMZ host. I got into full public lobbies and had been playing all day with perfect connection. Then when my teammate died in Criminal Mastermind I unplugged the Xbox by the power cord in the back and now I join every public lobby by myself and can't connect to any jobs. Why is that? I'm getting really tired of playing by myself and I really want to figure this out.

BTW, my console is hardwired and always have Open NAT on Xbox One. I've tried everything and contacted Rockstar but literally nothing helps. I've tried Port Forwarding the correct ports and that didn't help either. I think my next step might be trading my modem/router in for a different one at my internet provider's store to see if that will help. I don't know why that would correct my current problem though.

TheNameless

I have absolutely no idea what the hell you just said

😐

Seriously though, on 360 I sometimes can't join any job or friend, it just won't do it, seems to happen when the family are using Netflix etc and hogging the internet

I get this sometimes w/XBOX1. I turn off my router, wait a while, turn it on again and I'm good for a while until something randomly is "off" again and I do it over. Sometimes turning off and pulling the power cord on XBOX and then turning it off again helps.

Set everything up dhcp and see if it works then work your way back from there. And really, pulling power cords is not cool

EarlyLifeFailure

Take the cartridge out and blow into it, then blow into the console...

Nah this happened to me, I didn't change anything, I just turned it all off and it was okay a few hours later.

If you unplugged your console while it was running online there's a good chance this happened...

Hold the power button for 30 seconds and reboot. Then take your console off of auto wake/instant on. Its a cache problem.

might be somthing like this. I get this problem when I leave gta running when I put my console into sleep mode. I can connect to rockstar but seemingly have a nat error with every other player in the world.

Close down the application and rebooting fixes it. I'd give it awhile unplugged. Go take your dog for a walk or somthing.
