timmymagicno1 Posted January 20, 2003 Share Posted January 20, 2003 when i try to hold up stores i point a gun at the clerk, the alarms go off and i get two wanted stars but nothing appears for me to collect and nothing registers on the stores knocked off stats, any idea why? All_Vice_City Posted January 20, 2003 Share Posted January 20, 2003 What I do is just wait to I get one star and shoot the guy, I think thats the best way b/c you will only have 1 star and it counts on the stats, and aim the gun at him until you here a sound, that means he gave you some money. I just hold r1 and my money thing goes up a little every 2 secs or so. Or i think thats what happens. I havent played VC in a little while I need to check lol. If u stand close to the clerk then u are close enough to pick the money up so it just goes into ur stats. If u are farther away the money will appear in bundles on the counter (like the ones that appear after u kill someone on the street) and u have to go collect them.. usually by jumping on the counter. Also, you dont have to have get a star for it to count as a robbery. You get ONE star for every *2* bundles of money collected. So if u just collect one bundle, u will have the store knocked off in ur stats and no star, but remember to shoot the clerk before letting go of R1 or he will sound the alarm.
