Purple9 Posted January 20, 2003 Share Posted January 20, 2003 Autocide, that would come into my fun-missions-to-do-list Dildo Dodo was frustrating at times; but I feel the hardest was probably "the driver" as there's nothing worse than trying to race someone who's in a faster car than you; it's not impossible, I know, but it challenges you more than any other mission I feel The Precinct - We're upping our standards, so up yours! I think that Checkpoint Charlie was pretty hard. Yes, the two boat missions: "Checkpoint Charlie" and "Stunt Boat Challenge" caused me a few problems - the steering on some of the boats; i.e. Squallo is very delicate The Precinct - We're upping our standards, so up yours! Phil Ca$$idy Posted January 20, 2003 Share Posted January 20, 2003 I didn't realy have any trouble with any of the missions mentioned so far (Iv only just finished THE JOB) I had most trouble with DEATH ROW I found THE DRIVER fairly easy but thats probably because I do alot of driving. DILDO DODO was a b!tch but wasn't realy that hard. I suppose it all depends on how skilled you are at ceratain things. Thats what makes this game so great. Purple9 Posted January 20, 2003 Share Posted January 20, 2003 Deathrow too was a mission which took me a few trys - as all of Diaz' men were all armed with Rugers and uzi 9mms; and as there was lots of 'em to kill it required fast shootin' to get ya way thru the goons in the comets didn't seem to pose too much of a threat though The Precinct - We're upping our standards, so up yours! Yiphic Posted January 21, 2003 Share Posted January 21, 2003 It seems like for most of the games harder missions there's a trick to "doing it smarter, not harder" like with Death Row (which was mentioned a lot), if you just grab a helicopter and take it to go see Kent, then it'll still be waiting outside, and you can fly to Lance in record time, free him, and both of take of in the chopper again, without worrying about the goons chasing you tot he hospital. But of course, you wouldn't know to try this your first time through the game. What a prick Lance was. Tommy saved his ass from certain doom in that mission, putting his own ass on the line, and Lance still sold out to the mafia. A hard one for me the first time through was Supply & Demand. The first time, you don't know the path you need to take to win the race to the yacht, and then when you're on gun detail, if you don't take out those guys standing on the jetty, they wipe out a huge chunk of your boat's health, which then leaves you in bad shape while a helicopter is then attacking. I did it first try Keep your friends close was easy as well The hardest missions (imo) were demolition man and death row. i went back and started the game again and did both of them first try, but when i first started it took me like 40 tries. Checkpoint Charlie is easy if you practise enough - I have got my time down to 1:45 now (to beat it first time around you need to go faster than 2:30). I did None of the missions were hard, I got them all in four or less tries. The Job was hardish, but then I reaslised I should just go to the side, and did it on the fourth try. Dildo Dodo was simple for me, as were all the boat missions etc. VC Endurance was kinda hard/annoying... It actually took me about 7/8 tries. That's the only one more than 4 tries though. I end up either: a) killing the patient b) the patient is on top of a building c) i run out of time you should be able to keep your spare time from the last round. "shakedown" was hard @ first too. ambulance missions arent even fun anymore, the patient always ends up in the blown up haitian drug factory or the little haiti pizza place, or the patient starts running and hits the side of the ambulance, dying.
