peds drive crazy mod

i download this mod from gta5 mods https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/insanely-bad-drivers-traffic-modand im assuming he isnt updating it anymore. ever since update 1.28 with this mod on the game shutters and fps drops really bad for some reason, and i was wondering if someone who knows how to mod could update this. its a great mod and makes the game a ton of fun and i would like to be able to use this mod again;
