richard1997jones
I'm 17 and have started learning to drive so the time had come to get myself a car. This is it. It's £20 road tax and group 3 insurance so its an ideal car. Flachbau, Pavle, marco6158 and 10 others

marco6158
Little cars are the best to start with. When I turn 18 and I'll start driving school (september) I will practice with my dad's Clio which I really like and I seriously can't wait. Which engine does it have? marco6158
The 508 was not that bad looking. What about this, the 206 SW. I like French cars but this is awful especially the first version.
*MURDOC*
It's only the front end that I can't help but laugh at, and I think the angle I'm seeing it from probably doesn't help. I just see stretched out 206 face

CBH
I think that the 206 is the exact moment Peugeot forgot how to make cars properly. I really wonder what made that happen.
marco6158
Actually the normal 206 isn't bad to me (and it was succesfull in rally if I'm not wrong) but the sedan and the station wagon ones were bad looking. Basically everyone my age learned to drive in one, and they were and still are universally dreadful. Anyone who tells you they're decent knows nothing about cars. Also, WRC cars are basically safety cells with bodywork that vaguely imitates the car they're based on attached to them. They're nothing like the vehicles they look like. *MURDOC* 1 AMD Ryzen 5900X (4.65GHz All-Core PBO2) | Gigabye X570S Pro | 32GB G-Skill Trident Z RGB 3600MHz CL16 EK-Quantum Reflection D5 | XSPC D5 PWM | TechN/Heatkiller Blocks | HardwareLabs GTS & GTX 360 Radiators Corsair AX750 | Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL | EVGA GeForce RTX2080 XC @2055MHz | Sabrant Rocket Plus 1TB Sabrant Rocket 2TB | Samsung 970 Evo 1TB | 2x ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q | Q Acoustics 2010i | Sabaj A4
epoxi
I drove a 206 once, when I turned the steering wheel the rotation of the steering column would knock my foot off the clutch pedal. Not entirely sure how it became one of the best selling cars of the period.

Svip
I've never been a fan of Peugeot. My displeasure with them for taking out all the soul of Citroën and turning them into rebranded Peugeots will never subside. However, it would be neat owning a 205 16T. epoxi

Oh wow, That's a nice little car for a first. How much did that cost ya? It was priced at the garage for £4,250 but I managed to get them down to £3650 so I was feeling pretty pleased with myself by being able to knock £600 off it. ARC8_1982
Peugeots were ok back then in 1990's e.g. 406 and 406 Coupe, they had nice look, but later Peugeot changed theirs design language, and because of that i completely changed my interest. Still love French Cars too, they are the best. Edited August 12, 2015 by ARC8_1982
