Heist Map Updates in Single Player

Aaand It Worked , The issue that was causing the crash and data corrupt was the openiv.asi wasn't installed , so i enabled it directly from openiv and now works fine.

 

Would you enable a landmark on the map for the carrier and Yatch? , because it kinda annoys me know that im on the ship and does not have a blimp that i am on that location :( (As a suggestion)

The version of Open Interiors for this mod will have it.

 

Anywho...

Now I just need to find that door, and v0.3 is ready to be released.

Thanks. I really appreciate it. I've looked everywhere, and I can't find it. This stupid ass mother f*cking damn door is delaying the mod right now. I don't want to upload another 1.3GB file. Once I upload 0.3, I'll find the door, and will have to upload another 1.3 GB file.

 

The reason why it is important to do this is when Open Interiors releases for this mod, the apartment teleports will be in the lobbies by the elevators.

 

Edit: Does sjaak's trainer have a get id of last damaged object function like the GTA 4 version? That would help hunting the door that is requiring v0.3 to need more polishing.

@nkjellman I'm always happy to help. I searched in OpenIV dt1_03_ and got like 50 results (I think). It was easy from that point :)

EDIT: And for the image I think the red and blue got switched. Why fraps?

Also, are the apartment lobbies, garages, etc. teleports or do you walk into them like any other interior?

 

Just curious since the former obviously don't work with police shootouts, haha.

It is loading the police station from a different interior, so the cops do not spawn. I thought of something to try which may get the cops to appear, but I was thinking that an asi script which spawns them may be better. Could spawn people in the jail too. The original only had them in the front room of the police station, so it might be better to have them through out.

 

Also the lobbies and garages don't require any sort of IPL loader.

No I wasn't. I will look into it. I think it has to do with there being a new Pacific Bank interior. I didn't bother looking into adding it as there doesn't seem to be any differences from the old one.

 

Edit: It is still there in my game. Could you post some screen shots and tell me which version of the game you have?

and you know, you could always just upload the new files as a seperate 'patch' for users to add to the 1.3gb file instead of reuploading (and everyone having to redownload) the entire thing for small changes...

Hmmm. That is weird. It might be an issue with the mod you are using to access the Del Perro Heights apartment.

 

@diamond-optic: I have tried making my own dlc.rpf to load the map updates. Unfortanatly that didn't work. Also, I would rather just upload the whole thing as the changes may seem small in game but in the files, they are not. It is easier to upload the whole dlc.rpf because there will be people having issues installing the mod. It is a lot of files so a mistake is easy to make. But next time I make a change that is small in the files, I may upload the changed files in a separate archive and replace the one with the whole dlc.rpf with the updated one. Right now there may be a small change that I need to make to the content.xml, so I will upload the whole thing and the content.xml by itself.

 

To be honest with you, I wish that this mod could just be a content.xml that replaces the heist one in the heist dlc patch folder in the update.rpf.

I'm using sjaaks SNT aribreak to get to the apartment.

 

The apartment doesn't load when I use the original patchday2ng/dlc.rpf
