What Happened to Trevor's Mom?

So I just ended GTA V. BUT... after the last mission, Trevor has to go to his trailer. And he meats his mom there. Then all the sh*t happens and she asks Trevor to get some meds for her. When he delivers the meds to her, she's gone. Now some people say it was a hallucination, but one thing doesn't stand out in this theory. After completing the last mission, before starting this trailer mission, after playing some time with Trevor, he gets a message from Ron saying something like "Hey Trevor, come to the trailer, I've got a surprise for ya!", and what obviously can be a surprise other than this? After delivering the meds, nothing happens so obviously this was the surprise that Ron wanted to show him. What do you think? What happened to Trevor's mom and is she real or imaginary?

Trevor is hallucinating when he first arrives.

He gets the meds, takes them.

Now his mom is gone. Because she was never really there.

At least that's the most plausible theory I've heard.

Yeah but, as I stated above that Ron texts him for a surprise. How can Trevor and Ron both be hallucinating at the same time?

The Blazer that appears in front of Trevor's trailer after you complete the game. It has flames painted on it.

One of Trevor's biggest traumas was to never statisfy his mother. The appearence of the latter in his trailer is a plot element to demonstrate Trevor's weak side through "momma issues" in a comical way. Her disapearance afterwards is just there to underlines this comical effect, so again, a plot device at the service of Trevor's character developement.

Hard to determin the developemts of a sub-plot which main purpose lies in character developement and a scene which is there to score a few laughs.

But if you go onto LifeInvader after the mission, Ron posts something like "Aren't you gonna introduce me to your mom?", which implies Ron was aware of her presence as well.

Trevor's mom being in his trailer was a hallucination.

Drive around in Trevor's truck long enough and you'll hear some weird military chatter over a radio. Over the same "radio" you'll hear Mrs. Phillips' voice berating Trevor. All that radio stuff is in Trevor's head. This definitely supports the theory that his mother was never really at his trailer.

He could have heard Trevor "talking to her," or yelling and crying during Mrs. Phillips and Damaged Goods. I mean he is right outside if Trevor's trailer most of the times. Even then, Ron can definitely hear what's going on over at Trevor's - from his trailer right next door.

While on a certain age, some mushrooms are truly nice....

No mission's prompt at the end, no matter what was already tried, makes you wonder though.

Is it surely finished?

PhillBellic

Two possible reasons;

1. She was a hallucination of Trevor's.

2. She left whilst Trevor was obtaining the Medication.

I keep hearing over the radio playing as Trevor of some woman saying "Where are my pills at?"

Rockstar always puts us in these kind of situations. Jetpack, Trevor's mom, UFO.

You know this how? Last it was heard Franklin's voice actor went back to record DLC stuff, that was a few months ago, it's likely they're working on it but like everything else Rockstar does they say nothing about it until they're almost done.

Trevor wasn't hallucinating... I remember seeing Ron leave a LifeInvader post about Trevor's mother (might not be true).... so I guess that she did come, but left while Trevor was finding the medicine. Additionally, if you try to enter Trevor's caravan without finding the medicines, she might shout at Trevor. It means that Trevor wasn't probably hallucinating.

About the LifeInvader post: If the post came after Trevor saw his mom, Ron probably only heard Trevor talking to his mom not the hallucination, so the LifeInvader post doesn't count.

And about entering Trevor's trailer: Yes, Trevor does hear his mom screaming, but when you try to enter Trevor's trailer with Franklin or Michael, you don't hear hear his mom. Plus, as Trevor, I tried to open the door by throwing some stickies at the door of the trailer, I blew them and the door opened, I went inside and saw nothing, not even his mom's dead body. So this promotes that his mom was a hallucination.

Dude, Rockstar is to busy making DLCs for GTA Online and trying to free it from hackers. I don't think there'll be more SinglePlayer DLCs.

So Shawn Fonteno got hired again to do DLC recording but we're not getting DLC? Got it.

Different studios.

Rockstar North is more than likely working on the Single Player DLC, while Rockstar New York has entire control of GTA: Online (It's why the heists took so long, there's only about 8-15 Devs that worked on it).

Mmhmm. So that's the schedule. But I still personally think that the SinglePlayer DLC is gonna take time cuz there's no news for it yet.
