I was driving through the desert with a Japanese businessman called Yoshi and a zoological expert, whose name was Zai. The car broke down miles from anywhere and all we had for suvival was a half ounce of mescaline and tube of Barbeque Pringles, 3 days into our voyage through the desert we met a fellow traveller called Jim and his friend who was a naked native American. We shared our stories about journey's into space and time, whilst contemplating why the tube of Pringles had gotten too small for our hands to fit to the bottom.

 

After three days of contemplation, we soon realised that it was because we had gotten older and our hands were not like that of a child anymore. Besides we were knee deep Peyote and Guano and wondering why we had gathered a crowd of flying rats, when our naked native American friend had passed on his wisdom, the same wisdom he had passed on in Chicago... Build it, and they will come.

 

With my Japanese friends business skills, and Zai's expertize we had set up business for our fellow travellers, to join us in sampling the best guano fertlized mescaline in the desert under the guise of our new venture, the Zai Bat Zoo.

I left all my worries and other TV shows behind, baby. Aqua Teen Hunger Force is in its final season, so I'm showing some love.

My signature is the cropped image of a young couple enjoying themselves in the meat and seafood section of a local supermarket. They are riding on top of an inflatable whale. It is 1 A.M. The inflatable whale was brought to the store by the young woman as a gift to the young man, and she had received the whale as a souvenir at SeaWorld, where she had been earlier that day because her family went to celebrate the birthday of her little brother who turned eleven, and her shift at the Holiday Inn reception desk had been cancelled anyway due to an electrical failure and general construction taking up the lobby area. She brought the young man the whale because they had both talked over the phone earlier in the day and to her he seemed curt and perhaps terse, and there was an air of exhaustion or maybe resentment in his voice over the fact that he was up and soon to be ready for another shift at the grocery store, where he went in at four in the afternoon and helped unload trucks in the back until closing at nine, then stocked shelves until one. The inflatable whale was a surprise to see. He was glad to be surprised. He had just clocked out and in a movie-like fashion he had been hunched over the meat section ventilation to try and cool himself off at least a little before heading out to his Chevy Malibu and driving home in the smoldering summer air (his car A/C was broken at the time). So she surprised him, and they embraced, and she had her best friend with her, who demanded they have some fun and pose for a fun picture to remember the moment. Before the friend took the snapshot he leaned back so that his breath was felt on her cheek and he whispered a dirty joke that only the two of them would get, and she heard it and threw her head back and laughed wild, and the friend thought it was the best chance to capture that moment to be remembered forever.
