-there's no way to transfer episodic weapons and vehicles to IV (without mods)

-when you crash out of your car, you f*cking fly in the air and bounce on the road 10 times. TBOGT improved this though

-those friends hangouts... (f*ck off roman i don't want to play darts. i have a f*cking 6 star wanted level and the pigs are after me) EFLC improved this though

-the DLC version of TLAD and the disc version of TLAD can't play online together...

 

damn, it's actually kind of hard to say what i don't like about the game

i mean that when you fly out the windshield, you don't fly as much and you bounce less timesWell I've never noticed a difference.

There were a lot of Faggios and you see those everywhere in NYC, so there's that..

I disliked the fact of having to buy clothes again, also that money is useless since you can't buy sh*t beside ammo (and cheap clothes).

- Bike Chases, Seriously why did they have to be scripted so you can kill the target after a certain point?

Same can be said for car chases. I mean they give you a faster car than the guy you're chasing, but it's still scripted? Seriously. They should have gave us a slower car vs chasing an NPC in a faster car and make it unscripted so it still needs some effort.

I could surely say it's not that. If they gave it a slower speed and a few more/different animations then there would be no difference between it and a motorcycle. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Why the f*ck Niko had to do missions for Manny?

Why Niko killed Goldberg for Francis to get only 1k $?

For example Niko got 20k $ for killing his older drug addict brother.

Like the amount of cash realy means something in this game. Except in the 1.st part when you`re runing low, but at the half of game you have it more than 5x enough considering you got nothing to spend on it.

Besides you shouldn`t kill Francis because he gives you clearance of wanted level until the last mission if you kill that drunken junkie mess of Derrick.

@eaglestrike is that Yusuf Amir in your avatar? I just love that guy, it must be my 2.nd best character after Umberto Robina. I almost cracked up when seeing him dancing "arab money" with his underwear.

I agree with all points except the first, i don`t see any problems with hand combat in IV, for 2008 game it was hell of a good thing.

But it sometimes gives you problems to block or dodge the counter attack, however that`s why i carry a bat 24/7. It`s one serious melee weapon in this game.

It just felt really clunky and slow to me. However, I had no problems with the bat or knife.

 

One big plus I will give IV over V regarding melee combat is that Niko had some sweet counter combos that trump any in V

I really prefer one single protagonist rather than three, but IV with protag selector would be lovely. It is painful to change the disc every time i want to ride a chopper or play bowling with Roman.

They should re release IV to new generation consoles with one single disc with all protags and missions in order. I would buy a console just for that.

The IV+EFLC (Complete Edition) disc almost eliminates the issue

what I don't like in the game is principally the heavy feel of the cars and the too soft suspensions. Perfect example: the Cavalcade. kind of getting on my nerves.

There's an easy fix for this. When any friend/girlfriend asks to do something accept it and ring them back to cancel. You wont lose any "like".

When you take cover behind a wall and walk up to the corner of the wall the protag walks SO slow.

How small the map is. However, it's understandable. The first game introducing the RAGE engine.

Some useless radio stations no one likes: The Vibe, IF99(some good songs), JNR and K109 the Studio.

Lack of customization (haircuts, facial hair, tattoos, little clothing, no fat, skinny or muscle optimization like in SA)

Flying through the windshield when you crash at 40mph

Flying 150ft in the air when you fly off a motorcycle

Beta aircraft cut (Andromeda, others)

I love IF99. Cruising around Bohan with Gil Scott Heron playing is a great experience. I wish there would have been more 90s hip hop like Mobb Deep, Wu Tang and hardcore NY stuff like that. It would have fit the vibe of the game perfectly.

Main things I hate about GTA IV (very few things)

 

1. The choice between Dwayne and Playboy X. Completely out of Niko's character to kill Dwayne.

 

2. A lack of unlocks except for new areas in the map and weapons

 

That's all I can think of right now. Other than that, nothing else I dislike.
