Cerium Posted July 15, 2015 Share Posted July 15, 2015 I read about ScriptPad and Epic Map Editor so I tried to edit the gangs in Downtown via these two programmes. What I did: 1. Opened up wil.scr in Map Editor 2. Decompiled it to a .mis file 3. Opened wil_decompiled.mis with ScriptPad 4. Edited the SET_GANG_INFO lines 5. Saved it as wil.mis 6. Opened up wil.mis with miss2.exe and used "Run Parser" 7. I put the new wil.scr file and .tmp file into GTA2/data folder 8. Started the game, chose map 1 As soon as I start, I complete the map in 1 second. I got no time to do anything, because I return to the menu and can go to map 2 after I just started it. Sektor Posted July 15, 2015 Share Posted July 15, 2015 (edited) The decompiler is incomplete. It doesn't support if/while/while_exec. Without a while command the script won't loop and goes straight to levelend. You could easily add a main one but still many things won't be functional. Is this a hard task to do for someone with some programming skills? I want to make Downtown more fun by changing the gangs' weapons.
