Yes he is. He's a character with no conviction, with no will-power and no ability to shape his own destiny. He leaves LC with the grand intention of sorting his life out, but what he actually does is go back to his old, drug-addled, crack-whore-f*cking ways and becomes a pathetic shadow of his former self. And he was weak at best in TLAD - constantly whining, constantly bitching, constantly on a downer... wait. WAIT A MINUTE. I get why everyone around here identifies with him now. Sure, he was written that way, but that was a clear and conscious decision on R*'s part. And lets face it, of the three IV era protags, he's the one least people would care about dying. GTA-Biker Posted July 21, 2015 Share Posted July 21, 2015 (edited) Here´s a few things I don´t get about Johnny,The Lost MC and their relationship with Trevor: -In GTA TLAD The Lost MC Alderney chapter was almost wiped out (only known members who survived were Johnny,Terry,Clay and Angus) and Broker chapter was also weakened (Niko killed a few members while chasing Jason and Luis killed some members when The Lost MC ambushed the diamonds deal),so how did they not only recovered,but spread out across the whole US,became one of the most powerful biker gangs and took over part of San Andreas (in TLAD San Andreas was said to be Angels Of Death´s main turf) in just 5 years? -In TLAD,Johnny was against drug use,he often criticized Billy and Ashley for using drugs and even broke up with Ashley because she was addicted.Why did he start using drugs himself if he was so much against them? -GTA Online story takes place a few months before GTA 5 story,and in GTA Online Trevor seems to know that The Lost MC have a hideout in Stab City (he sends Online protagonist there multiple times,in missions Romance Isn´t Dead and Daemon Run and in heist Series A Funding),but in GTA 5 mission Mr Philips he has to follow them from Grapeseed to Stab City to find where their hideout is.How did he forgot that? -In mission Mr Philips,how did Johnny get to Trevor´s trailer?From what I´ve seen,his Hexer (or any other bike,in case he got a new one) is nowhere nearby.Did he walk all the way from Stab City? -In the same mission,when Trevor confronts Terry and Clay,there are a few other bikers around,and at least one of them is seen holding an AK.Why did they all get so scared of unarmed Trevor,Ron with a handgun and Wade with a shotgun?And why did nobody shoot back at Trevor while being chased?Even if the other guys were just some rookie prospects,Terry and Clay (who pull out guns when they get to Stab City,if not killed before) should have the balls to defend themselves,they were some of the toughest TLMC members back in TLAD,they could easily shoot while riding. -Why are some NPC civilians riding Daemons with TLMC logo on the seat?Was it so hard for R* to make a civilian version of Daemon that looks exactly the same,but without any gang logos (like there is single and double headlight PCJ600,Ruiner with metal and with glass roof,Infernus with and without a spoiler...),or at least put the ability to remove TLMC logo from the seats in LSC? -I get that unlike TLAD,GTA 5 isn´t based around biker gangs,but R* really should have given The Lost MC a few more bikes.In singleplayer and Online freeroam they mostly ride Hexers,they ride Daemons in Online missions and Heists and a few singleplayer sidemissions,they are seen with a Bagger in Underbelly Of Paradise and rarely one can be found in Stab City but they never ride it around,they sometimes ride Sovereigns in singleplayer on new gen version,and they never ride Innovation (despite it being released before new gen version,just like Sovereign).It looks weird to see a group of bikers all riding identical bikes.If there are multiple chopper bikes,why not give them to a biker gang and make each member of a group ride different bike? In my opinion R* really screwed up with both writing and programming The Lost MC. craigdyid Posted July 21, 2015 Share Posted July 21, 2015 I wasn't that bothered at all by Johhnys death as I thought TLAD was very unmemorable BUT I did say that about GTA 4 as a whole and it's only been in the past week that now I'm older and mature (I was 14 when playing 4 and TLAD now 21) that I've got a huge new appreciation for it. Looking forward to completing GTA 4 (I can't remember most of the story so it's like a new game to me!) and going on TLAD but can't remember whether they fixed biking for that or not... I do remember TLAD having a very dark feel to it though and I do remember that Johnny was a bit of a mess then. maybe in a week or two I'll be joining in and venting my anger (a bit late to the party mind) as well. He made his choices, he was a beast of a man, killer and drug pusher. His sins were bound to catch up with him. I truly believe there's a reason that his DLC is called The Lost and Dammed. FranklinsIron Posted July 31, 2015 Share Posted July 31, 2015 @Leopard gecko When playing TLAD, I even thought if he got back with Ashley he'd be a meth head, seemed that type of person considering Ashley used him constant and he played to it. He did know where they're area was, he just had to make sure they were going there. (He says to Ron in his own words "I have an idea where they're going, just needed to make sure"). They were all crackheads and for so,e reason didn't believe him at first and if the guy with the ak starts shooting, it puts Terry and Clay in danger, which they wouldn't do. The only thing I don't get. Meth makes Trevor a monster but Johnny a pussy. Overall, I forgot about Johnny after the first mission with T. Great protagonist in TLAD, like I thought the Russian boss Dimitiri turns on was quality in original died. (More upset about that). Ps; I don't even think Johnny is dead. Ashley carrys him off when you leave, will come back in DLC stronger than ever after going in hiding to recover. To much gaps etc just to leave.
