No it doesn't. I'm a day one player and have been doing this in every non-electric, RWD and AWD car since. It's just the most effective with the Banshee.You said it yourself, most effective. Why would he bother testing it with the T20 when he already provided the most effective results with the Banshee?I think you're misinterpreting what I mean by "most effective". The Banshee is a slower car than the T20. Using the boost makes it less slower by a decent margin. It is being measured against a non-boosted T20. If the T20 were to be using the boost as well, there would be a larger gap between the two, even if the boost isn't as strong on the T20.

 

Edit never went through on my last post so here it is again: OP, go test the boost and learn for yourself, because obviously you won't take our word for it. First, try it with a Futo and honestly tell me that you don't notice a substantial increase in acceleration during said boost. After doing this and confirming for yourself that it doesn't only work on the Banshee, try an AWD car. Here's a tip; AWD cars require BOTH brakes and not just the E-brake.

Incorrect. It works on virtually any RWD and AWD car, but is harder to achieve in near-even split AWD vehicles (e.g. 60/40 Insurgent) and in vehicles with extremely short low gear ratios (e.g. Elegy).

It works on all drivetrains. Just works better on RWD cars and certain cars get a higher boost than others. I always rev boost the T20.

Anyone knows if the Thrust is fast again? It was stupidly fast (straight line) but they nerfed it a while ago, no idea if they ever reverted it back to how it was. Legit topspeed of +176mph with the Thrust . Sold it after they nerfed it, would get one back in a heartbeat if i only knew it's back to normal again. Might get the Vindicator, really like the fast touringbikes especially for covering long distances and cruising around outside of the city.

 

Anyone here that owns a Thrust bike?

Curb or kerb boosting does not increase top speed in any shape or from. It only improves acceleration which is technically the time to reach higher speeds. I don't think social club stats are accurate considering I have 170 mph+ with my Alpha which I drove over a year ago. We all know cars cannot reach these speeds.

Proof OP is in denial about his lack of knowledge. OP also is apparently incapable of running a test with consistency.

 

Based on those 2 things, I'd say this thread is utterly useless. Biased test results should be considered null and void.

 

We told you how to make it into a proper test, or at least more proper than you had. If you'd rather argue than TRY it for yourself, then your results are meaningless. The ignorance is strong with this one.

The Bati does indeed have the highest top speed than any other bike in the game (not sure about the Akuma though). The Bati, when wheelied, can go faster than a Zentorno as well.

Hakuchou has higher top speed than the Bati 801 even if you compare the two wheeling. Without wheeling, it's the Thrust.

Not that you would know, since you didn't even know the boost existed on other cars till a little while ago. At most, you've only had like 3 hours to practice, so obviously you won't be consistently good at it. Go ahead and pull numbers out of thin air. You're good at that. It's not like we've already proven your method of testing isn't conclusive /sarcasm and therefore the numbers you state mean nothing. Come back with experience, an unbiased process, and evidence. THEN your thoughts on the matter might be relevant.

 

Edit: WhiteDodge has the idea. And btw lowered Rapid GT vs boosting Banshee is quite close. Personally I don't own a Rapid, but when doing races at meets, it's always pretty close and usually ends up coming down to driver error.

We got to deep.What i wanted to say,no car managed to win over me in drag race.Video below we both do everything possible to win.

 

How there would be a bias in my numbers ? i tried my best in every car i test.If you look at comparison between boosted-non boosted banshee (quick way is broughy video) difference is nothing more than 0.5sec and will be much lower in supers like T20 or Osiris.

 

Watch video below from 11.43.Rev boost doesn't give you more than 0.5 sec.not even that.
