So a trend that has grown through the summer, is a concept of hiring a socalled 'morgenbolle fyr' which is a handsome ripped guy that will bake buns in the morning for women's celebrations such as birthdays, stag nights, etc.

The concept is somewhat sexually themed, but it's really just for the sh*tz and gigs.

Woah, can't believe I wrote that. Drunk me is neither funny or abusive, just hateful. I guess youtube comments left a mark in me after all. Sorry if I offended anyone.

To make things up, here's a video of Sweden's most famous rapper:

What I love about norway is all the Teslas.

f*ck I love em.

Feels like I see a lot of them around here as well, I've lost count to be honest.

There was even a Norwegian one at the store a few weeks ago. Marwin, do all electric vehicles in Norway have the letters EL on their license plates or was that a coincidence? I swear it wasn't the first time I saw that.

All electric Norwegian vehicles has EL on 'em.

My sister who lives in Norway confirmed that.

Yes.

Also, Norway is the 2nd largest market for Tesla in the world, following only the US.

I also see a lot of Teslas in Denmark, largely because they are tax free.

i think I read somewhere Norway has more than 50,000 electric cars on the road, which is a pretty good number per head of population (5m). Its about 1 per 100 ppl. Compared to the USA which is 1 per 925. And as far as I can tell, the UK has even lower figures. Half the number of electric cars that Norway does (under 25k according to wikipedia), and about 12 times the population.

Norway has two electric cars in the top 5 "most popular vehicles sold list". Nissan Leaf at 3rd with 4781 and the Tesla at 5th with 4040. Thats only 2014 numbers, not total.

Best thing about Scandinavia is the women I guess

rofl

How about our insane standard of living? Free higher education? Universal health care? A social democracy man.

Sweet, sweet social democracy.

e: yes the women are unfathomably hot on average. I wouldn't say it was the best thing however.

Danmark is rated as 4th safest place if a nuclear war/world war 3 would take place.

Maybe we got a few places down that list after the Russian ambassador to Denmark threatened to point the Russian nuclear weapons at Denmark.

So anyways, I was looking at the Swedish wineshop website and this is their "raison d'etre". And I quote directly

Systembolaget exists for one reason: To minimize alcohol-related problems by selling alcohol in a responsible way, without profit motive.

Does anybody actually believe this sh*t? How can anybody justify this, removing profit motive minimizes alcohol related problems?

For anyone not familiar with the system, in Sweden you can only buy up to 3.5% beer in a supermarket, no wine, no nothing else. For ANYTHING with an alcohol content over 3.5% you must go to a government controlled warehouse, and then only between 10am and 6pm (2pm on a saturday).

Yeah, same in Finland, though it is a bit more lenient. Grocery store limit is 4,7% and Alko is open from 9:00 to 21:00. Grocery stores aren't allowed to sell alcohol between 21:00 and 9:00 either.

A lot of Finns go to Estonia to buy large quantities of alcohol, especially if they're having a bigger party.

That's why fathers take their kids to bolaget every friday afternoon to buy booze for the rest of the month. You know, standard Scandinavian family time..

Ahh, Estonia. The little mysterious little brother that we keep out of our perfect society called Scandinavia in order to buy moonshine and prostitutes.

Only that the alcohol taxes in Norway are ridiculous. A wine bottle for $200, hallelujah to that, my Norwegian brother.

Lol'd ^

We both know it's far from perfect, if you consider our politics and the fact Sweden will be a third world country by 2030 according to the UN.
