Do you guys on next gen(NOT PC)lag out of almost every session your in?i do when I join a heist it says someone else left when I reality I'm pretty sure I'm the one that accidentally left do you experience everyone leaving the session at the same time?ex:billy 1 left,billy 2 left billy 3 left

Yeah, it's quite annoying. Especially with friends, can get increasingly frustrating as they are confused to why I left. On rare, occasions I can get booted contact missions or even heists.

For me it was being wireless.

even though my router was less than 4th feet from my xbox 360, in would lag out on average every 360minutes. Consistently.

 

Said f*ckit and ran the cable and never experienced a mass exodus in 5+ hour session last night.

Man it still sometimes lags out. Today I lagged out. And it happened 2 months after the PC version got released.

 

On 360 there were constant lag outs. For me it's cool now, but I know it's not ISP's fault.

First off all, it may be your mayware connection. If you've changed your isp that many times your house connection to the towers is probably shot to the ground. If you're lagging out like that I'll pm you a guys number i know and he can com check it out. he has his own company

Direct fiber here and I don't have any problems since the PC release. I think today it was just a bad day.

 

It could be even my router disconnecting me from the wireless network - it lags out in the same way.

 

But 360 couldn't keep up with synchronizing and it was timing out.

Anytime that you &/or your heist crew members are playing from a public session, you will have a very high chance of getting connection errors during the heist. I don't have a problem with missions, but if anyone is in a public session during a heist I can almost guarantee that someone will end up getting disconnected which is why that I insist my friends all play from invite only if they want me to join them.

Its always the ISP fault, just like computers getting a virus is the computer guys fault, engine makes a noise must be the mechanics fault etc.

 

Op what system? Also what is your Nat type? Maybe use dmz mode on your console. I'm using dmz mode on my Xbox one and I getting less issues but I do lag out time to time.

just because they said they fixed them, does not mean they actually fixed them...

 

they are not fixed..... I currently have three other games for PS4 (Project Cars, MLB 15 the Show and The Crew) and have a lot of other games on 360 and GTA Online is the only game I have that has issues like this, I can get online and stay online just fine with no connection issues with the other games, but can't with GTA Online.

they are not fixed..... They also said they would release Heists in "Spring 2014". We all know how that went.

 

As someone pointed out, just because R* says something doesn't mean sh*t. As far as we know, they could have said they were fixed, knowing we have no way to verify, and just used the money to throw a giant office pizza party

 

I'm pretty sure they didn't, but that's about as much as I trust R*'s word anymore.

(Last gen) I have connectivity problems of some description every single day.

 

Either it will fail to join an online session, or I will eventually be kicked out of one. Then it may take 4 or 5 attempts to get back online. And I constantly get the message saying "Saving failed - can't connect to servers".

When heists was released one guy in our team had big troubles and got DC like 10 times until we said that we had to ditch him and he finally admitted his connection was sh*t and moved his xbox to a friends house with 100mbit/s. After that it was no problems at all. If I was you I would try a couple of different connections and see if it gets better.

That's a lag spike or something like that. Happens on a daily basis that seems to be passed off as "normal" and ignored these days. You only need around 2.5mbps to run online gaming. While your stats are great, they are also mostly irrelevant but some members also like to blame the ISP and not this sh*t p2p connection.
