Help with character!

Sorry for this long post, i tried to keep it as short and to the point as possible.

In late june i finally got gta 5 for ps4. I previously never had it for any console so it was my first time playing. Now i have about $300,000 in the bank, 1 car, and my online character is a 20 rp. I did not set up a rockstar social account. I dont have a garage - thats what i was saving up for (more on this in a sec). So i was getting excited to purchase online my favorite car- 1970 Charger- which is represented in game by the imponte dukes. However i have read that the only way to get this car is by transferring progress from an old rockstar account - so ps3 for example. So my questions for the people of this forum is:

1) how much progress is needed to essentially unlock the dukes?

2) is it possible in any way for me to go out and buy the game for ps3, play it and gain some money and rp, maybe buy a garage, set up a rockstar social account, then load up my ps4 game and transfer the progress and be able to purchase the Dukes from one of the online auto stores?

3) if #2 is possible, is it also possible for me to be able to put my $300,000 i have saved towards the character i would be carrying over? I hope so, or else completing missions and heists will be a waste until the character transfer is complete.

Thanks for reading, and thanks a lot for any help! Sorry again for the long post.

WAT???? They are all over the streets, find one and steal it, then take it to Los Santos Customs and put insurance and a tracker on it. Oh, and get a garage first. No need to waste time and real money on the PS3 version.

I never see them on the streets, and if i were i thought they were too hot to modify

I always see them around the Casino and Vago's territory. They are certainly not to hot to modify. So your check list should be garage first, then locate your precious car second. Then head straight to LSC to get insurance and a tracker. Then realize the car performs about as well as your grandma walking on ice.

The Duke is indeed a "Returning Player Exclusive Content" but it will unlock as soon as the game recognizes you as a returning player for Rank 1

2. Yes you can play on PS3 and than transfer you're progress from PS3 to PS4 to unlock the Duke but remember any progress you make on PS3 will overright any progress you've already made on PS4 so if you are going to do that i'd do it now.

3. Any progress you've made on PS4 WILL NOT also be showned on PS3 you will start from Zero on PS3 and any progress you make on PS3 will overwrite your PS4 progress...

No you don't as they are a Returning Player content and can only be store/seen by "Returning Players"

It's possible you are thinking about the Stallion..and even if he were to find one it is "Too hot" and can't be stored or modified without the content

This is the duke

I have one more question...

Since i will be going on the PS3 version to register for a social club account, will it automatically link into my existing ps4 character? If so then it defeats the purpose of everything i am planning to do (see thread above)

No, Like i said earlier you will need to create a brand new character and any progress you make on PS3 will overwrite your PS4 progress this including RP & Money

No it doesn't connect to a specific character it just connects to the PSN account
