And it wasn't me :)

To the other point, you just have to follow Lester's route and chance the jump in the Kuruma...that will lose the wanted still.

True, but then you'll get someone who can't or doesn't know how to jump out of the vehicle in time. Plus, whomever has the Kuruma will eat the cost of it possibly going in the water and being destroyed.

But yes it is true.

You need not jump out of the Kuruma. You can stay in it as long as you have a competent driver that know's how to control the vehicle in free all, and then land the damn thing on all four wheels.

On all four wheels? That'll only cost about $15,000 from the cash bag.

Yeah I don't see how you don't lose money falling from that far no matter how controlled the car is.

I don't give a f*ck how skilled you are. Dumb. sh*t. Happens. sh*t that puts you in an no-win situation. sh*t that will kill you no matter how fast you spam your armor/snack menu. You all know what I'm talking about because it's happened to you, yes you, even you try-hard Lectro enthusiasts. And shut yo' ugly ass up before you even THINK about trying to tell me otherwise.

Is a full payout possible on the Lectros? Yes. Is it the safest method? Far from it. You're completely exposed on a motorcycle, so ducking down does nothing to protect you. In addition, one run-in with a faulty AI, and you're off that bike, taking bullets before you can even stand up.

If you don't like using the Kuruma, then don't f*cking use it. Simple as that. Nobody cares that you're good on a bike. Seriously, nobody. Rockstar's not gonna mail you a cake for getting max payout. They're not gonna show up to your house and throw you a party for being able to drive a bike without falling off.

And another thing. Shut the f*ck up with all this "don't play with randoms" nonsene. Do you honestly assume that someone is terrible at video games just becuse you don't personally know them, or because you haven't previously added them to some arbitrary list of gamertags? Get the f*ck over yourself. I've learned more about this game from playing with randoms than I ever have from you elitist f*cktrolls here on the forums.

OT: I think one day it will get patched, but it's not a very high priority. If it were, they would have removed that apartment from the game altogether. If anything, the sh*tty cargobob spawn on Fleeca finale will get fixed first.

"...then don't f*cking use it. Simple as that."

Please f*cking read the f*cking thread before you f*cking come in here and start f*cking swearing and carrying on. It's not that simple. Some players are actually blowing up the bikes to prevent other players from using them (even if they're not the host of that particular session.) Even if you get on your bike, some of those Kuruma noobs bring the cops to the boat and cost you money.

Bikes yield more cash than the silly Kuruma escape despite the fact that the Kuruma noobs insist that their boring method is a better choice.

Rockstar, do you read this forum? You clearly didn't intend to design a heist where bank robbers visit a buddy's apartment, go upstairs and then downstairs and then enter a garage and drive away, smash into objects and lose cash while boring three of four players to sleep. PATCH THIS NONSENSE.

They bring the same damn take in the end. Get over yourself with this idea that one is just flat out better than the other. The only time the kuruma loses a lot of money at the boat is when people f*ck up that part and don't get in fast enough or if the money bags get out while you're surrounded.

Also lol at telling Rockstar what they intended or didn't intend. You're a hoot. You don't even speak for everyone saying that it bores people.

Yeah I don't see how you don't lose money falling from that far no matter how controlled the car is.I did it last night with a bunch of randoms. I took the bike, however, the driver, crew and money followed after me with the Kuruma using the lester route. He/she must of honed his/her jump, controlled descent and landing skills down to a T; as I assumed the car landed on all four wheels perfectly.

We walked away with a full take pretty easily.

It can be done.

I hope they do patch it, it's completely absurd for R* to put trust in there players than to have them go do this.

If a host uses a karama i usually take the bikes, yea a few times I've used the karama but that's only when it's desperation.

People need to play legit, if i see a host getting a heli, yea sure I'll get in as stated. But I'll parachute out while in blaine county and get a bike or car.

I don't believe in taking the easy way, same goes with the riot van. If u can use a van, why not a simple bike? Is that too hard?

I am hoping R* patches all PV glitches. It'd be best for this game. Its modern day robbing of not only the players fun, but R* Two year commitment and promise of releasing them.

And this is why doing PS with randumbs is counter-productive. You have true dumbasses, and then you have Knight Templars like this.

What next? Refuse to tail the Lazer as Velum pilot, and refuse to let the Velum tail the Lazer as Buzzard pilot on Prison Break? That Lazer clearly isn't "intended" to be so dumb you can "avoid" it by staying on its tail.

i prefer to follow the law and play the game as intended. If R* wanted me to use a pv they would've given us a indicator.

My mother raised me to play fair and give everyone a opportunity. I just like being with true players and enjoying the game. I didn't mean to aturate anyone.

In a real life if sh*ts go awry when robbing a bank... Im sure the people scramble and do what they need to do. (or in movies)

Yes, the bike was the plan. I have never used the Kuruma method....

BUT I damn sure hop off that bike, and grab the 1st police car I see that is empty by the ramp.

I don't think that Rockstar will patch this heist just because of people using the armored Kuruma, but I'd be willing to bet you a gold Luxor that we will see it getting a huge buff of some sort in the future. Players are using this heist like Rooftop Rumble 2.0 and completely ignoring the other heists which Rockstar will see as being a problem just like they did back in the day with Coveted & Rooftop Rumble.

I don't expect a payout nerf or a difficulty buff unless there is a significant increase in competence -- to the point where you can easily pass it with any three randoms on the bikes.

It's only players in crews that are profiting off of this. The majority of players are still playing (and continuously failing) with randoms. Because of this, I'm sure Rockstar doesn't see this heist as a money farm yet.

One of my crew members/friends bought the apartment next to where you store the bikes. We have been doing the trick where he goes into his apartment and then invites us. We then drive out in bulletproof Karuma and make it to boat unharmed, with all the money.

Do you think this gets patched eventually?

No, it's not getting patched because R wanted us to figure it out to begin with. That's the entire reason R gave us the Kuruma first; so we'd be smart enough to put it to good use.

Good luck passing an elite challenge in it and Urm smarter people don't need the kuruma and farm faster using bikes without dying.

Using PVs was a glitch to begin with, so they'd be unpatching it.

And no, I doubt it. But for f*ck's sake... is that hard to use the Lectro? Doing it with randoms is a pain because they keep driving in a straight line. It's a bike, damnit.

The problem with bikes is that most players dont use them often, me being one of those players (despite owning 4 bikes lol), and therefor are sh*tty bike drivers, which raises the probability of a fatal crash while driving at high speeds.

My group of friends, when heists first came out, would just drive down to the armored police van down by the ammunation, near the bike start location, take that to the jump point and bail out, it was slow going and we barely made it there, but we made it out with all of the cash :) everyone got there at the same time and the van was able to fend off the pursuing cops.

NO! ...allowing use of the Karuma for heists is based on a simple economic principle.

Karuma sales ↗️

makes player's bank balances ⬇️

while steadily driving Kesh card sales ↗️

which equals Rockstar being wayyyy ⬆️

The answer is pretty simple Noob...

Basically it's just a haste misspelling of the word "Kuruma."

For those of you who say you need to do the heist as R* intended and bad mouth imaginative and creative players... You are ignoring the fact that in the heist it is Lester who says "stay together or go a different way if you want"... That clearly indicates that R* left that open to the players to choose and R* does not object to people being creative, thinking and being more efficient on the job. If R* had a problem with using alternate routes or methods to get to the dinghy, once you are past the two check points in the alley after leaving the bank... they would not have made following the route, going to check points and jumping off Mount Chiliad OPTIONAL... Following the prescribed route on the bikes is the worst and most boring way to do the escape. So get over it, if you do not like to play creatively and have fun... stick to playing with your boring "we can do it only one way friends"... I like to be efficient while having fun so I have done it many different ways ... varying things keeps it fun and to keeps it from being boring! That almost never includes jumping off Mount Chiliad... If you really want to parachute there are at least FOUR alternate places you can parachute from that are not on Mt. Chiliad... not to mention several different ways to drive to the dinghy... There is nothing wrong with using a police car/van, noose vehicles, kuruma, insurgent or whatever you like... try new things, change things up and have fun is my recommendation!

Arrows to Athens

Lol

Seriously why does everyone call it the karuma?

It's the pronunciation. Most people usually pronounce it ''Karuma'' and automatically assume that's the spelling for it.

I THINK THIS HAS IN FACT NOW BEEN PATCHED ???

It's weird that this thread has just popped up for me actually because I recently purchased the garage and today my friends and I tried the Kuruma method for the first time. However nobody was able to get into my car. It was set to 'Passengers' originally and then I changed it to 'Everyone' but still my car remained locked for everybody else.

The other three ended up stealing a cop car and we actually managed to complete the heist, despite it being on hard difficulty.

You did it wrong because the kuruma or any pv is locked for everyone but the owner within a certain area from the city or garage or something to that effect because you could all get in it if you drove to the ranch and got in or something else.

I feel like the people who say you can't reliably jump/parachute with the Kuruma are doing it from the wrong spot...

I mean, it isn't any more unreliable than jumping from the Lectro, you just need to use the rock ramp that comes up on the other side of the bridge a little ways up on the hill.

Unless they patched it so you can't take that anymore, I haven't don Pac Standard in a month or so at least.

Did your passengers attempt to enter the Kaurauuma whilst it was in the garage, or outside of the garage?

By the way, those of you who are struggling with the bike escape, you may grab the following race from the Rockstar Social Club to practice. It's a GTA race with "Wanted Levels: ON" so you'll have to deal with cops in this one just like in the heist.

The Pacific Standard Run

2_0.jpg

DESCRIPTION

No self-respecting crook would ever take down a bank without first racing through a dry run of the escape route. Practice your epic getaway from the law with this point-to-point remake of the Pacific Standard Heist finale.

Seems pointless if there are no police, as Lesters route isn't hard to run it's avoiding the police that is difficult.

People on Bikes should just stick to the Caida Libre trench and train tracks. At that point all you're dodging are helicopters.

The race is GTA with Wanted Levels On. Cops almost always show up in it. It's a good sim for that escape.

Even practicing doesn't matter as all it takes is one laggy teleporting ass car to f*ck it all up anyway. And lag is never consistent.
