Full take on bikes. Yah super easy...

Using PVs was a glitch to begin with, so they'd be unpatching it.

And no, I doubt it. But for f*ck's sake... is that hard to use the Lectro? Doing it with randoms is a pain because they keep driving in a straight line. It's a bike, damnit.

I saw one dude crash at the bridge and fell to his death, which causes an instant mission fail.

Hardly. It's way simpler to avoid with practice. For example: driving in the desert area of Sandy Shore or off the road hinders the police to find you. Or even better: go inside the subway until the wanted goes away.

I have not tried the subway during the final heist, so I am not sure if it removes the wanted status even though they are searching for you.

However the desert one or off roads like the mountains or grassy areas does the job well since police cars hardly gets there. Just be on the look out for the helicopters. If they are still hovering on you, kill them quick with a homing rocket and drive around a bit, away from the cops.

Once on search mode, in which the red and blue hud stops yet the cops are searching, try to be far away from them and keep an eye for helicopter so you can move away from them.

Best way to practice this is go Solo on Invite-Only/Closed Friends/Solo Sessions, grab any motorcycles (Nemesis Principe is a great cheap alt for Lectro), get 5 stars (Lester's Purple event do it easily) and practice your escape until you find an easy strategy to evade them.

God, I hope so.

It's such a stupid method. It almost always results in less cash at end of heist yet players have convinced themselves that it's the better method. If you bring cops to the boat using this method, the player carrying the money will undoubtedly get shot and lose cash. If you don't bring cops to the boat, it's because you drove the car down a hill, bouncing along the way and damaging the money bag. Either way, you lose cash.

Learn to ride the bike. It gives all four players something to do rather than sit inside a car for five minutes.

You can fly the Kuruma off the cliff and have everyone jump, like you would with the bikes and lose the stars.

Stop blaming the method for your incompetence. It is by far the easiest and most secure way that doesn't involve actual cheating.

I hope they do patch it, it's completely absurd for R* to put trust in there players than to have them go do this.

If a host uses a karama i usually take the bikes, yea a few times I've used the karama but that's only when it's desperation.

People need to play legit, if i see a host getting a heli, yea sure I'll get in as stated. But I'll parachute out while in blaine county and get a bike or car.

I don't believe in taking the easy way, same goes with the riot van. If u can use a van, why not a simple bike? Is that too hard?

I am hoping R* patches all PV glitches. It'd be best for this game. Its modern day robbing of not only the players fun, but R* Two year commitment and promise of releasing them.

And this is why doing PS with randumbs is counter-productive. You have true dumbasses, and then you have Knight Templars like this.

What next? Refuse to tail the Lazer as Velum pilot, and refuse to let the Velum tail the Lazer as Buzzard pilot on Prison Break? That Lazer clearly isn't "intended" to be so dumb you can "avoid" it by staying on its tail.

i prefer to follow the law and play the game as intended. If R* wanted me to use a pv they would've given us a indicator.

My mother raised me to play fair and give everyone a opportunity. I just like being with true players and enjoying the game. I didn't mean to aturate anyone.

Then why have I gone undamaged in almost every bike escape during the finale? Don't bring NOOSE and don't shoot at cops and you won't have nearly the same amount of cops shooting at you.

As for the name-calling, tsk tsk!

No because Rockstar wanted us to use the vehicles on the heist missions and finales. I'm pretty sure I heard it in an interview.

Are you kidding with that post? You can't drive a bike to escape and you're calling other players "incompetent?"

Learn to ride a bike and develop some intuition on how to beat the AI (HINT: It looks for a consistent speed and direction. Try slowing down every once in a while or going left and then right so that the cops can't anticipate your bike's position...it's incredibly easy for anyone with some common sense.)

Unbelievable. Incompetent? Get some skills, son.

P.S. Players die all the time trying to get out of the car and pull their chutes. You were probably the noob that wasted our time with this just two days ago. GET ON THE BIKES, NOOBS!

I can't believe people care so much about losing maybe 20-30k which comes out to like 14-22k at most for a single person, and with a reasonable split it's more like 8-15k for a single person. Do a f*ckin Simeon mission after if it matters that much to you.

If they truly did, the whole bike setup could be nuked away since we don't need em at all.

Our cars wouldn't be moved away from Pac Standard's front, so we could just get in em and drive off into the sunset with all that moolah.

But this is just not the way it is.

Everyone saying "learn how to ride a bike" is a bit dumb. The issue is that you have 3 randoms and it only takes one of them that can't ride a bike to spoil everything. It doesn't matter how good you individually are, Kuruma is undoubtedly the best way of getting everybody there for sure.

I hope they don't patch it.

Forgive me, but in my opinion, after seeing so much failures with randoms on bikes, wanting to get extra challenge by getting out of the Kuruma (on cost of your crewmates) looks borderline autistic.

On the other side, i take heists maybe too serious - this is spent effort i'd like to see pay off, rather than getting frustrated over the whole evening spent in vain.

Several instances when restarting your vehicles disappear, your vehicles disappear because of the instance changing as well as the fact you have to walk through the street and can't get in any car at that point anyway when going through the alley. They scripted a lot of heists so that they were cinematic. Beyond the alley sequence in pacific standard it's impossible to tell, but they left other cars open so there's that...if they truly didn't want you using cars and only bikes then they wouldn't allow that. Then there are setups such as series a weed where your vehicle disappears as soon as you reset despite the fact that it's there for you to use for it before that, so clearly the instance changing impacts some of it.

It's merely speculation on either side whether or not they intended for you to be able to access your garage or pv in the finale. It's pretty pointless to say it was obviously intended to be done either way. It could be either. You're obviously intended to initially use the bikes for the experience of it since everything is done mirroring cinematic sequences from movies and such. But allowing you to use vehicles does not mean they'd simply do away with the setup.

My parents raised me to be a contributer. And it feels good knowing I'm doing the right thing. R* respects people like me who follows the rules folks, that's why they patch money glitches because it messes with the economy. Yea i have 212 million, but that doesn't mean i flaunt it.

Being a true r* fan comes with responsibly, yea they may not know you but you better BE sure they're respecting you. And someday will have us legit players employed

Bullsh*t. You can say you do well on the bikes for yourself and that's fair, but once in the Kuruma, you lose nothing or almost nothing unless you're an idiot.

i doubt it, it seems a it little coincidental that they put the bikes right next to a safe house with the door in the perfect spot aswell. and the heists seem to be be in order or hardest to easiest (with use of armor vests/cars). not suprised theres a super safe method

It's not a glitch, just an unintended tactic.

You'd think that they would have patched it by now if they could, but they haven't so I'm assuming it would require an entire re-do of how entering apartments work and they figure it isn't worth the hassle when 75%+ users have no clue about it.

Also, I'm still confused why TigOlBitties always complains that people die jumping out of the Kuruma. You don't even have to jump out of the Karuma. The thing is so heavily armored you can just crash it down the mountain.

Y'all are so full of sh*t.

I usually get the full take or close to the full take when I'm the money carrier and we use the bikes. Here is my strategy.

  • Have the money carrier go first. For me at least, the cop spawns aren't as frequent for the person in the lead.
  • Use Lester's route, but drive on the grassy area. Cops seem to have trouble hitting you even though you're right next to the road.
  • When you get to Stab City, drive on the sides if there are cops on those narrow bridges.
  • Eventually you will come to a bridge with a trailer parked next to it. There is a path underneath that you can drop down to and it leads to the tunnel. Great way to avoid that hairy 180 degree turn.
  • Let a teammate kill the two cops guarding the tunnel as well as the two cops in the park.
  • You're pretty much home free once those last two cops are gone. Enjoy your $1.25 million.

I do the bike escape just fine, thank you. I just don't do it anymore with a much more sensible and safe approach that a) requires less effort from my side and b) much less likely to fail spectacularly with teammates whose skills on a bike I don't fully trust.

It is entirely your business to have your "I DO IT THE HARD WAY" pride (even though I couldn't care less about it), but badmouthing the Kuruma method without even knowing what you can do with it is beyond stupid.

When you compare the regular way to do a mission/heist with a method consisting on sitting on a car which you can be on it for ten minutes surrounded by 5 stars enemies and not even entirely lose your armor, then yes, everything is hard, even syncing the gamepad.

It's not pride, it's about actually playing the game. Winning every time or else it's for babies, not for adults. Kuruma users aren't that different from hackers and modders.

You don't even have to be good at riding bikes to finish it on bike. Just stay off road and drive safely, take the railroad bridge, and climb up the side of the mountain into the tunnel.

Which isn't that good of an excuse anyway since it's a pretty simple name.
