They never claimed they'd have new or exclusive information. They said it might not be hot by the time they talk about it. Often times Rockstar will give info in advance to news sites so they can prep their articles in advance so when Rockstar announces information they are ready to go! In my view if it is still in development then it will come out for last-gen as well as current generation and PC. I think this because they followed through with a similar scenario with Online heists by releasing it on last gen platforms - which was also announced before anything to do with 8th gen came out. I skipped both, so have no idea where they fit... I'd say a smaller size DLC package (ie, a new hist or two, plus some assorted freaks and strangers sort of thing) would use the same three protagonists as before; it's already mostly made. It's a low cost add-on. On the other hand, if you're suggesting TLAD sized expansions are DLC, then I think you may end up with new characters. That makes perfect sense, because it's not just an expansion of the story but an extension of the framework laid in GTA V/Los Santos as a whole. You'll definatly see something like that, too. Why would they waste all this backend across five different platforms for a single release (even as big as GTA V's numbers were). It's silly. You've got all teh goods tuff coded, you just need some new character models. Don't get excited about a new city, that's not goign to happen until GTA VI. I've only played about 2 hours of SP. Don't really care much about the story. Please let it be a big online dlc. Who's with me?!! Then you really missed out on what this game has to offer. Everything about Online is scaled back. I forgot how much better SP was until I had to try out the new vehicles before buying and found myself flying down a dark road on a foggy night. You don't get that in Online. You could get a $60 game, but you can't get a ten or fifteen dollar DLC/expansion? GTAO DLC is free since they're able to get sales from Shark Cards, and the content is very minimal. DLC with a short story, new features, etc. like Undead Nightmare, TLAD, or TBoGT is a totally different situation and if you expect that to be free there's something wrong with you.
