I hate to say it, but other AAA studios could have made heists in less than half that time... even Ubisoft!Ubisoft are better than Rockstar no matter how ever the latter aspires to be. Rockstar's probably planning on 2 GTAV story expansions, some cool new online content, and Red Dead Redemption 2. Agent is on the backburner indefinitely, GTAVI is nowhere in sight. I don't know about that man, Rockstar's focus is 120% on GTA Online and they won't take their focus and resources off Online for a second. There is no way that GTA V is getting any SP DLC or expansions and Red Dead 2 is probably 2 or 3 years down the road and it will almost certainly be Online only as that is all that matters to Rockstar. Red Dead's popular enough for them to focus on it. Not everybody at R* works on GTA. A Red Dead Online would be pretty cool though if you can make your own character instead of seeing 100 John Marston's running around. I don't even see how a shark card would work on that, there aren't as many horses as there are cars. Just hope if it does have a MP they don't abandon it like they did with Redemption's, which is completely unplayable again. I hope the new Red Dead isn't abused by microtransactions online. Lol And the point you're trying to vaguely make is that it's been almost two years and counting for the SP DLC? Yeah, it's too bad they've been working on literally everything else. The issues that came with GTAO when it first launched, the monthly DLC, working on heists for almost a year, the PS4/Xbone edition, the PC version and so forth. Sure we've got evidence that it was once in development, but whether it's still going to be release... I would say it's a project stopped dead in the water. And if you're going to use that stupid instgram photo as evidence, remember all it said was "You know why I'm wearing this", so for all we know he dug up an old photo from the development of the base game and decided to upload it. The fact thats not happening, makes me sad a little bit. I really didn't want to close the book on GTA V till at least soon before GTA VI's release. Now, with nothing to breath life into the game, its gonna happen a lot sooner, this year probably and the game that so many have eagerly anticipated since 2011 become like some people have put very eloquently: a boring, poorly structured grind-fest with wasted potential. Official General Posted July 16, 2015 Share Posted July 16, 2015 God, I wish GTA 5 just ended. Everyone knows GTA Online is a pretentious, poorly structured grind-fest. I honestly wouldn't care at all if we never saw a GTA Online update after Ill-Gotten Gains 2, it's not like they can pull off anything cooler than generic cars and overpriced hipster clothing. After all this time with no official announcement, the only way I see a story DLC making up for its overdo is if we got a map expansion. I wouldn't be surprised if they canceled story DLC. The last slither of hope was Solo in his motion capture suit on Instagram. Rockstar could probably care less about evolving the singleplayer, they already rushed the campaign for GTA V as it is. Me and you both, V is dead already man, Rockstar need to let this sh*t go. These stupid little online updates and add-ons ain't gonna make this game any better, heists was nothing special, and it's becoming more and more likely that there is no SP DLC coming. They should just face up to it, they blew the chance to make V a great game, it's over. Rockstar should be concentrating on the next GTA or RDR 2 by now. With Shawn Fonteno making hints towards the DLC, the things people keep finding in the game's files with each update that may have to do with the DLC, I just find it hard to believe that they're throwing all the progress away. With Rockstar's recent track record of constantly delaying things, and taking forever to release stuff like heists, it isn't that hard to believe that they're just behind schedule with the DLC. I mean just in the past few months they finally put out the heists, and caught up with the schedule it seems for GTAO. I think we have a chance to still get the SP DLC at some point in time, and hopefully have some actual crime-related activities. I just wish they would f*ck off with the GTAO updates. We just got Ill-Gotten Gains Parts 1 and 2, and that sort of made sense to have since people are getting tons of money from heists now - but now people are finding more sh*t that might be a lowrider update for GTAO? I mean come the f*ck on, GTAO has been pandered to exclusively - meanwhile it seems like the SP DLC is taking forever because of the focus on GTAO. I too was trying to convince myself there was still hope for this SP DLC, but I just can't see it happening no more. They've taken so long and they seem to focused on this this online stuff. I just think it's too late at this stage, I reckon they had plans for it, but they've decided to shelve it and focus on online updates instead. This game for me is dead in the water, even the SP DLC, the sooner I accept it, the easier I can handle the disappointment in this situation. I wish that was real, and I wished it would've been announced by now. If I remember correctly it would supposedly feature some new weapons including the chainsaw. How cool wouldn't that be? I'm happy with my PC version right now, and almost everything that's not GTA V. I enjoy life as I receive it, for better or worse. I'm not going to cry over a DLC not coming out if it doesn't happen. Say what you like about V, but as a whole it's one of the best, most complete games of the last generation, one of the best early titles on the current generation and offers much more than most of its contemporaries. They know they need to get this DLC out, they know people want it - yeah, even people who are 'sick' of V and pretend they don't play it anymore. It'll be something worth waiting for, if it's taken this long. As said before, I believe they actually scrapped it and started over, like they did with Heists, to ensure the best possible DLC they could make is delivered to the fans. And the ungrateful sh*ts that, even if it meets every single one of their expectations, will be on here complaining about things that they don't really have a problem with.
