GamesBoy316
R* needs to announce their next game ... they can still release the GTAV story mode DLC at some point and keep going with their "useless" GTA Online updates, but what keeps them from announcing their next game??? It's been too f*cking long ... October 2011 was the last time R* announced a new game ... they are still focusing on that game now ... which has been released 3 times by now, which has received tons of free updates ... which is reported on their newswire on weekly basis ... but only meaningless sh*t, nothing that matters for offline players! This is not the way to get people anxious for the next GTA ... we get GTA V stuff on a daily basis, there's no time for breathing - R* is milking GTA V. I'm crying for Bully 2 ... While Bully was an old time classic I would rather have a Bully remaster instead of a new title. As for the DLC Take Two cannot force R* to anything since R* is littraly pure Gold for them. I belive they are STILL WORKING on SP DLC and just want to take all time they habe to make it since they now have the money to do so. Also we all know it, the DLC will sell incredible AGAIN. R* just knows how to market. their products, speaking of 7+ years experience with R* product marketing ... Rockstar taking their time? Not really. Also, how do you know that the DLC will sell again, when you have other huge games? Also, don't forget the fact that some GTA V fans are used to the free DLC, so if they see that the DLC isn't free, they won't like it. XenoxX
Also my bet is still going with someone that R* will announce a DLC this year. Kets take another BET SP dlc will sell more than 1.2. million copys in the first month. Its the usual procedure like with Next Gen, R* releases a mindblowing trailer with some super cool allways requestd features in it, and the preorders will go all over the place And yes I believe R* is taking their time, even if you dont;) Dangerous and sad

MyName'sJeff
You know what's funny? We're in the same situation when we were supposed to be getting lots of info on GTA V back in 2011-12, but instead what did we get? .A years worth of Max Payne torture and marketing, or you can say we literally were in "Payne" for the whole year. donnits
Rockstar is really slackin' This is off-topic, but they've released at least one game a year, sometimes multiple games in the same year, for 13 consecutive years. After GTA V in 2013, not a single new game. I don't honestly care, but it does go to show how much they're slacking. 2000 - Midnight Club 2001 - GTA3, Max Payne 2002 - GTA Vice City 2003 - Max Payne 2, Midnight Club 2, Manhunt 2004 - GTA San Andreas, Red Dead Revolver 2005 - GTA LCS, Midnight Club 3 2006 - GTA VCS, Bully 2007 - Manhunt 2 2008 - GTA4, Midnight Club LA 2009 - EFLC 2010 - Red Dead Redemption 2011 - LA Noire 2012 - Max Payne 3 2013 - GTA5 2014 - n/a 2015 - n/a Edited July 15, 2015 by Donut UltraGizmo64, Choco Taco, tranceking26 and 4 others

gooeyhole
GTA V's not slacking, or well, Rockstar isn't, sh*t is harder to make unfortunately so it takes time and Rockstar is known to be perfectionists and give staff ridiculous timelines to achieve the goal they want. GamesBoy316
Well, at this rate, we won't see GTA VI for a very long time. Here's the thing that Rockstar needs to look out for though, they can't keep updating GTA V forever. Pretty soon, people will get tired and move on, it's not like those updates keep people interested for weeks. Look at games like Metal Gear Solid V, Just Cause 3, and Fallout 4, those games are gonna be huge. Rockstar needs to step it up and if they still have that DLC planned, release it now, because DLC can't compete with huge games like these. Even if they release it now actually, it's still too late.
