Razed-
I'm not sure why you guys were hyped for this but surely everyone in the thread has learned their lesson now. I'd say about 95% of GTAV YouTube videos are clickbait or rehashed information. CVG could have easily tweeted out days prior to this saying the video will be speculation. They chose to wait until the last minute in order to attract as much hype as possible. This is absolutely pathetic. I've been wanting to say this for a long time and this seems like a good thread to express how I feel about this. GTAV Youtubers are disgusting and will do anything for free clicks and views to their videos even if it means tricking an entire fanbase just like what CVG did here. All they care about is money. They will pretend to care for their subscribers but in reality they don't give a sh*t. I don't have respect for any GTA Youtuber except someone that I grew up with who ended up becoming popular, but I will admit that even he does clickbait from time to time. Where is the love for the real fans, Rockstar? You don't even sell half of this stuff on your warehouse store. Is it because the Youtube videos help market your product? What about the fans that market your games via word of mouth all over internet forums and social networks? I love Rockstar, I'm crazy about all their games, but these type of things bother me. Let's be honest...these Youtube personalities probably never played anything prior to San Andreas. They jumped on the GTAV hype train because GTA is one of the best selling game series and it's really easy to milk the younger fanbase into liking their "personality" of acting like retards in their videos, which eventually ends up making them money in the long run. They use various scummy tactics for views such as misleading thumbnails, misleading titles and video tags, misleading video descriptions, putting the title of their video in the description and much more. I don't remember any of these things happening during the release of GTA4 or anything prior to it. Sometimes I wish we could just go back to how things used to be and for people to start acting like themselves instead of faking it to make it. I respect those of you that keep your videos full of legitimate content and are the opposite of what I described in this post - keep it up. cp1dell, HoleInTheSky, Maibatsu545 and 9 others

Heists
I don't understand why people expect Story DLC at this point. Lets look at the facts: GTA IV came out in April 2008. Its first piece of DLC, The Lost and Damned came out in February 2009, the second The Ballad of Gay Tony, in October 2009. Thats a little over a year for both DLCs, both quality and fun in their own respect. GTA V came out first in September 2013. Its now July 2015, and the game is almost two years old. The next gen version is almost a year old. There hasn't been any Story DLC announced, nor hints of it. As the months tick by, its become clear that R* either: 1. Can't figure out a way to continue the storylines of the characters, or figure out a way to incorporate the multiple-ending problem (Option A and B result in the deaths of Michael or Trevor). 2. Doesn't care, since Online is their focus. I hope I'm wrong, I'd love to see a Ballad of Gay Tony level DLC, with a bunch of new weapons, vehicles and gameplay elements added in. They better start working on developing GTA 4 and it's DLCs for Next Gen. Why? GTA IV's physics are clunky, its color palette is depressing, vehicles drive like boats and the version of RAGE used is old. Its from 2008, just play it on 360. Yeah I don't think no 1 is a reasonable idea; I'm pretty sure they would have had ideas about how to continue the story like 2 years before the game was released. I'd say the project just got cancelled for whatever reason. There is no way it can exist now, TakeTwo would have forced it out by now if it did, and R* would have definitely said something in the past 19 months since they announced it. What would the point in continuing to make it without trying to market it especially after such a long time? The Story DLC is worse than Online Heists ever was at this point. The chances of R* pulling a Last Guardian are very slim imo. If it comes to 2016 and we still haven't heard anything and then they announce it I would be very surprised. GamesBoy316
If Rockstar is still working on the DLC, they would have announced it already at E3 or the Newswire, but that didn't happen. The chances of Rockstar ever releasing the DLC is getting lower as time goes by, I'd rather have them work on GTA VI or their other games. Like I keep saying, don't listen to the YouTubers, most of them are stupid and just want subscribers and likes. Heists
The last possibility for them to re-announce it is on the 2 year anniversary of the games release on around the 17th of September imo. Obviously don't sit their getting hyped up cause nothing will probably happen.

Tez2
I'm starting to think that SP DLC situation is same as Heists.Developing it alongside GTA Online updates and when they finish from GTA Online updates, they will focus on releasing SP DLC. Most of you will think this is a ridiculous idea but maybe they're waiting for 2016 to say "3 years of developing and polishing and now It's time to release our masterpiece". For example various aspects of GTA V was made in many different R* dev's and not just all in North. Though I have no idea how much of each dev's capacity goes into the one game while how much goes into the own studios separate projects. Emmi
R* needs to announce their next game ... they can still release the GTAV story mode DLC at some point and keep going with their "useless" GTA Online updates, but what keeps them from announcing their next game??? It's been too f*cking long ... October 2011 was the last time R* announced a new game ... they are still focusing on that game now ... which has been released 3 times by now, which has received tons of free updates ... which is reported on their newswire on weekly basis ... but only meaningless sh*t, nothing that matters for offline players! This is not the way to get people anxious for the next GTA ... we get GTA V stuff on a daily basis, there's no time for breathing - R* is milking GTA V. I'm crying for Bully 2 ...
