That's interesting. But hopefully it's 7 story missions for Franklin alone, because 7 overall would be pretty minuscule. Do you know when that comment was posted?

Looks like it's gonna be the files found in the game files that have been all around GTAForums.

I keep seeing this, but what exactly did people find? Is this the old thing where funmw2 found something for a Main Menu screen that listed "Story Mode, Trevor, Zombie" or something like that?

 

That and such things like the casino audio files, the "agency" whatever files that were found as well... But I can't really link you right now as I can't recall where they were, the discussion is probably in some of the actual DLC threads in the main section or in the GTAO section.

Still hoping that "Zombie" DLC has something to do with Solomon and the film studio rather than being an actual zombie apocalypse DLC.

R* should make it where each character has 20 or more missions, with new added activities that the majority are criminal related. I would love to do more heists in SP.

I would love them to finally add Liberty City or Las Venturas to both Single Player + Online. A new location would be incredible and they could easily throw in some cool new missions/heists to go along with them.

 

They hinted at expanding the GTAOnline universe, I wonder if that's still realistic though.

Is it even possible to add other places though? I see North Yankton being possible but other than that, I don't see anything else coming. Also, we just had Liberty City, and save other places like Vice City for GTA VI or later.

Thanks. And yeah, I can't see Rockstar doing zombies for GTA V, like they did for Red Dead Redemption. A lot of people think it was because of the huge zombie-craze back then, but for me, an undead/supernatural theme for the DLC sort of made sense. It was as if Rockstar was paying homage to what Red Dead Revolver's original concept was, before they bought it from Capcom and turned it into a normal Wild West game. They took the old concept, and brought it to RDR in the form of DLC. I doubt it was zombies "just because."

 

EDIT: Wow, those assassination missions. I wonder if those will affect the stock market just like the ones in the vanilla game.

Guys, admit it, this is what realistically will happen tomorrow: we'll wake up to nothing regarding story dlc on the newswire. CVG's GTA 5 o'clock podcast will cover all the recent teases by Shawn Fonteno, and they'll discuss what they expect in a story DLC.

 

I think by "hot information" CVG was talking about Solo's teases, including the motion capture suit picture on Instagram, and that's all. That's what they meant by hot information.

 

Best case scenario: CVG saw the story DLC trailer early (as all media outlets do) and their podcast tomorrow will talk about what they saw in the story DLC trailer, and that's when they'll speculate given the hot info provided from an actual trailer.

 

But, optimistic me thinks that when Shane on CVG or whatever his name is said "quite looking forward to that," you can tell they sounded pretty excited.

 

If I'm wrong, which I most likely will not be, I will give someone a $20 Great White Shark Card, a $20 Steam card, or a $20 PSN card - your pick.

Well, if everything goes as speculated, CVG will cover the potential story DLC info after it's revealed on the newswire. After all, their podcasts are at 5pm, and Rockstar updates the newswire in the morning.

 

However, I wouldn't simply refer to them as "YouTube chuckleheads". They're technically media and have had exclusive interviews with Rockstar in the past before, AND they got to play heists early, AND they got to play GTA 5 on PS4 and PC early, AND they got to see GTA 5 gameplay early in April 2013, before the game's initial release. Evidently, they covered a lot of things early because of their media status.

 

Nonetheless, cynical me believes that by "hot information", CVG is simply referring to the recent teases and whatnot relating to story DLC. Personally, I see a 30% chance of story DLC being revealed tomorrow. If not, then I will gladly abandon the premature hype train because honestly, R* is dragging on GTA 5 too long.
