Just google it there will be a Tutorial for it.

You have to do it through BIOs. A little complicated to explain.

EDIT: I found a Tutorial http://www.blackviper.com/os-install-guides/windows-7-install-guide/

Yup, you get a disc. When you initially start the computer once it's all put together and the disc is in, it gives you on-screen instructions from there.

Nah first you got to select the HardDrive through the Bios

I changed the list around a bit. I remove the WIFI and sound card, because those are already included on the mother board, right? The power supply should be sufficient. Do I have enough cooling? Do I need to add extra fans? How do I know which ones to get? Thank you.

Also, 2 more pay checks and I should have enough - that would mean buying the parts around the end of August. Skylake should be available then. Do you think I should wait for Skylake, and will it surpass the 5820 in terms of performance? Thanks.

Good choices except for your cpu cooler and monitor. Go with water cooling corsair and that TN monitor is sub par. Go with a 31" plus LG, 32 " BenQ IPS monitors. Or 40" Phillips or AMU 39" 4k ones. Don't cut yourself short with your display. Also going to a skylake cpu won't benefit you unless your coming from 3 or 4 generations old cpu.

Now that's a beast.

And I don't want to burst your bubble, but have you seen what's going on with the game right now ? I wouldn't say twice it's gonna drop frames and stutter online on that monster as well.. cause I've seen some powerful PCs handling the game just like a mid-end one after the recent game updates.

If you're buying this only for GTA V (which I highly doubt), waste of money. If mostly for other games too - then damn you're gonna have a great time and cheers to you my friend.

My comment is only to get the GTX Titan X, as opposed to two 980 ti's SLI. Next year SLI a Titan X, and you'll be good for years to come. I'm getting 4k at 3840x2160 @ 60fps on my samsung 78" curved. It's ~ $200 more in total price.

Currency is Canadian $.. Bought everything at Canada Computers.

Just a heads up,

you might want to change the CPU for a 5930k, it has 40 PCi-e lanes so you can get true SLi @ 2 x16, the 5820k only has 28 ;-)

Thanks guys. Sorry to bump selfishly but can anyone comment on cooling, wireless, and sound card? I want to ensure cooling is adequate and also that I don't need buy separate wireless and sound cards apart from what comes on the MOBO. Thank you.

Im not going to look up mobo details, but Ill say this much. If youre spending a little shy of half a grand on just the mobo, it should do everything you need it to. If it doesnt, pick something else! WiFi and decent audio are found from the mid range and up.

You really dont need 32GB of RAM, unless you forgot to mention you do a lot of graphical design and such. It wont help you in pretty much any game.

Considering the rather small price difference of upping the CPU to the 5930, take the money saved from halving the RAM and up the CPU (with money to spare). Altho you did say you werent ordering it just yet, why not wait for skylake, it'll hardly delay you a few weeks come ordering time. Its not that big a deal tho, I mean look at the difference (scroll down to games) between a devils canyon and the X99 plat, theyre very close.

Id suggest more storage, you will be amazed how quickly 500GB vanishes ;p

I think you just need to build this and live and learn, coz theres a lot you wont/cant take in without some experience.

Holy moly, that's one beast of a Computer you're going to have! You're gonna be set for the next 10 years!

GTA V in 4K, Ultra settings and 60 FPS won't be an issue with a beast like that.

Are you completely set on a 60hz 4K Monitor? With a rig like that you could run a 1440p monitor with 144hz and play all your games with twice the VISIBLE frames than everyone else. After buying a 120hz monitor 4 years ago I haven't gone back to anything less than that, because anything less makes my eyes bleed.

Well for me this represents the accumulated savings of a long period of time. I don't want to end up with a mess of parts that isn't compatible or doesn't perform like I hope. Are there any sites you would recommend where I can talk to an experienced builder or someone can review my list? Thanks.

You shouldnt really be relying on others so much. It is a lot of money, its worth actually searching and reading up on the parts you are choosing.

As far as compatibility goes, you could post the spec on a website for mothers or dating and someone will probably be able to confirm they work together! Its fairly straight forward, the CPU states the chipset required, the motherboard states its chipset, your RAM will say somewhere on the page... you get what Im saying? There is no secret, or code, or training... The circular shape goes in the circular hole (unless you got mad mallot skills).

I would end up picking apart half your machine, like I think reference GPUs are a head f*ck (unless you plan on some DIY liquid cooling - thats a bit more advanced. Easy mode is just buy a custom cooled card). But how much of my advice would be biased (?), and it wouldnt be your machine anymore as your just building what someone else told you to.

As for how it will perform, thats quite subjective ^^ I mean it would be like talking to a virgin (on any given activity ;p) on how the first time will go. I could throw out many words, but it'll be personal to me and it would be a 1-way conversation. You need to get a build under your belt before certain aspects can be truly discussed.

Thats a long enough ramble XD The current build you have listed is compatible and will pack plenty of punch. I wouldnt sweat so much over the CPU options, whether its a 5000k series, or a devils canyon, or a skylake, you will be counting frames on one hand (positive and negative) /shrug. I am going to build a skylake machine myself, but I doubt I will see performance gains without using a benchmark tool, Im getting it for other features that come with Z107, not because I believe it will elevate me to new gaming heights!

Ditch the thermal paste, the h100i comes with paste pre-applied that is more than adequate and more importantly applied well.

Like someone else said, 32gb of ram is silly at this point. Get a 4x4gb (16gb) kit and you'll still have 4 slots open to upgrade further down the line.

For a few bucks more, buy the EVGA SC+ ACX2.0 980 Ti's. They're much cooler and quieter, but still a reference PCB should you ever decide to do watercooling.

500gb SSD and no other storage? Take some of the money saved on not buying absurdly expensive ram and bump that to 1tb of SSD space and get a 4tb storage drive.

As for the motherboard, for the price, you could do much better, unless you have a compelling reason for needing all of the tacked on stuff it has. I personally went with the Gigabyte X99-UD4 and couldn't be happier, MSI has quite a few good mobos for X99, and the EVGA Classified X99 board is supposed to be quite good as well. I'd also lose the DVD burner and get a bluray burner, and SP120's in favor of bitfenix or nzxt fans. SP120's are loud for no good reason.

As far as sound/wireless cards: Almost every one of the high end X99 mobos has the exact same audio hardware onboard which will be way more than adequate for 95% of users, so unless you want to buy one to say you have it, you can skip the sound card for any choice. Wireless adapters are a bit different, many of the X99 mobos have m.2 slots for wireless adapters and some come with m.2 wireless adapters pre-installed (all of the ones that have wireless onboard pretty much), so whether or not you will need one depends on the motherboard you decide on. Fitting a PCI-E wireless adapter onto a mobo with a pair of 980 Ti's will be difficult and add another factor to consider when it comes to cooling, so I'd suggest buying a motherboard with an m.2 slot for the $50-ish intel m.2 wireless adapter or with the adapter already installed. Or, y'know, use an ethernet cable.

With my two GTX 980Ti I can't play at 4K with 60fps, even lowering the settings and with no AA. I like playing games at 60fps so I go for the 1440p resolution. 1440p+60fps provides for me a better experience than playing at -60fps+4k and my 4k monitor plays at 1440p perfectly fine.

ditch the aio cooler... since u r on x99 ditch those ssd too... get a 1.2tb intel 750 series pcie ssd. u dont know what is fast until u used those ssd. i run 4930k with sli titan xs on a single S34E790. planning to switch to dual rog swift or s34e790 + rog swift. 5820k has 6 cores. and a high tdp of 140w (before oc) means it will be harder to cool... i watercool my cpu, rams, mother board and gpus. room temp is around 27°. idle temp around 34° and seldom go over 50° you will learn a lot along the way if u decide to build ur own rig. its very very simple.. just watch you tube and learn.

If I had $4000 to spend on a gaming PC, I'd use half of it right now and the rest to do a full upgrade earlier than I otherwise would, for these reasons:

- $2000 easily builds a PC that maxes out all (properly optimized) games if you stick to 1080p, which is still the wisest choice at this point considering that...

- ...components are steadily becoming better suited to 4k, meaning I wouldn't have to spend nearly as much on a new 4k-capable rig in a few years. 4k monitors would be much cheaper by then as well.

- I'd be able to reuse many parts from the current PC, such as the case, PSU, optical drives, cables, HDDs, and operating system. This means the second PC would let me spend more of the money on actual performance. It would dance circles around any $4000 rig you could build today, at least in games, and I'd have spent just as much money.
