How to use double GTA V installation?

Hi, I want to use two GTA V installations (one for online, one for mods) but I can´t install the game two times, only run the game of one installation.

How can I use 2 games at the same time?

How you have the game for play online and offline with texture mods, scrips etc etc?

Please help.

Here's how I do it (for non-steam)

 

Navigate to your original install

 

Copy GTA into the same location, rename the folder to Grand Theft Auto V - MP (or something different)

 

GTA loads the folder named "Grand Theft Auto V", so you now have 2 installs, which ever one you want to play, you have to rename it to that each time.

 

Here is my example, my current one that im playing is my multiplayer install, hence the -SP on the other one which is my modded install

At one point I copied my GTAV install to a 2nd folder, although I was using the Steam version, hence I had to use a crack. Unfortunately, newer patches killed it so I kinda had to run just mods and use OpenIV's mods folder feature, but eventually I had a friend of mine conjure up a command line script to rename the mod files to .old after the game quits. It's a complex thing but it works. Now I can switch between vanilla and modded by using a command script that I can run.
