Does anyone know the problem?
Mr.Arrow
Blame Rockstar Not only the performance f*ck up both Legit players and Modders but they also make the game unstable which cause more crash if you have mods with it
OverKillz
This is happening without any mods whatsoever.
Mr.Arrow
This is happening without any mods whatsoever. Thats the point If you have a shootout between the cops ,the fps will drop down to mid 20's (WTF????) with a minigun.
OverKillz
But I have no frame drops whatsoever so yeah. I only have that my game is freezing after 15-20 min

PCMasterRace46
It's the game not you. I'm in the top 1% of hardware that plays this and I crash at times as well. Game needs patched.
SlaveZer0
im also in the top 1% as far as hardware goes and I have yet to have a crash in this game since day one.... call me lucky as I never had issues with gta iv on my previous rig or this one. now I have stripped windows down to its core elements so it only has what it needs to run games and nothing more (I cant even print), but that takes lots of know how which many wouldn't understand. most of the freezes/crashes are game related, but windows bloat doesn't help. So you disabled the spooler service, which takes absolutely no resource whatsoever lol good work!
EvilDog77
I've been experiencing crashes since I replaced my HD7970 with a 980ti. Never had a problem with the AMD. I'll just put it down to sh*tty drivers for the time being as I've heard plenty of complaints about them from non-980ti users.
SlaveZer0
no I stripped windows clean, even removed the ability to even do aero....... my windows is at its very core.... and the I cant even print was a joke, no need for your snide comment
OverKillz
http://gyazo.com/e48f833daf68ac1c63b29381a9d344ed Installed new AMD driver and my fps was way more steady but I still get this problem... Many people have the same issue, but still nobody has a real fix. How is it that Rockstar is still not addressed a quite common issue?

The issue was introduced through the lates Update, I am sure R* is working on it.
