T20 Cargobob = Best Grief Deterrent

The Cargobob can survive a homing rocket. It just smokes after getting hit. If anything, I suspect having a car exploding under it on top of the homing rocket makes it more dangerous to fly.

 

This crap is more about making yourself feel good while getting slaughtered.

I'm only seeing posts, where people use them purely as annoyance.. (not even in the armored kuruma way.. but just solely as annoyance).

Anyone asking how people get rich, everyone suggests glitching/cheating.

The base of this whole community is completely rotten.. where people are actually asking why other people dislike griefers (ie. those who annoy purely to annoy) plus the amount of lonely guys asking about female gamers.

Don't get me wrong.. there's tons of fun players and often they've got a few more years on their life.. but it's especially these guys who scream for attention.

If you're using the T20 or whatever purely to annoy other people, trying to play the game.. I'm sorry, but there's something really wrong with you. (I would say that 9/10 of troll kids do have actual psycohological problems / are socially inept by improper raising)

Having fun in cooperation with others = fine, this is what a game is. (cooperation can also mean, murder/death/kill)

Having fun in spite of others = quite wrong (all the high insurance cost - threads are this)

Remember.. 2 wrongs never make a right and only ends up with your being even worse.

The problem however is that it's a malfunctioning gameplay element, introduced by Rockstar. There shouldnt be insurance costs this high, whilest knowing online players' behaviour. (when it's possible to grief/annoy, people -will- 100% grief and annoy.. internet #1 rule)

They should -completely- remove insurance costs as it is now.. (which I also advised quite a while ago)

Just use your car as car.. if you're going to these lengths just to annoy others for your entertainment.. a big meh and good luck in life to you.

OP I like the way you think, as a player who has a great love of hellicopters in gta, the homing launcher has been such a pain in my butt. I think this is an amazing idea, and one I shall start using.

 

A bit of helpful information, the helipad at the merryweather dock spawns only buzzards and cargobobs. So you have a 50/50 shot if you don't own one.

 

And to the guy who said

These people are doing this to them selfs. Are we forcing them to pull out there homing launcher and shoot at us? Who's really trying to annoy who here? I swear, even in an unarmed helli almost every time someone happens to span in by me, the little craps ALWAYS shoot me down. It's like leaving candy around a fat kid. They Just can't resist the temptation of the easy (and now costly) kill.

Is funny about all this "griefing" nonsense...it's all based on assumptions:

 

Person in a T20 assumes they are dealing only with poor people and are hurting their bank accounts, when said person blows up their vehicle.

 

Those that try and find creative ways to kill T20 driver's cars assume they are sticking the owner's with the bill.

 

In many cases both assumptions are wrong and it's more of a sour grapes rationale anyway. You're trying to make yourself feel better after either getting murdered in your car...or destroying a car in frustration after being murdered over and over again.

 

Whatever helps folks sleep at night.

What if you get sniped while in the cargobob?

 

My T20 will crash to the ground with the Cargobob, I might have to pay insurance if it blows up but I got millions and it won't get me a Bad Sport warning. Sometimes I turn so they can't get a lucky shot and have to resort to rockets So far I haven't yet been sniped.

Keep your interaction menu open, hover over passive mode, wait until some dumbass fires a homing launcher at you, hit passive and watch as they pay $27,500 for your vehicle while you take no damage. Level 20 blew up my Osiris earlyer today while i was standing on it in passive mode drinking my drink, he only paid 24k 'didn't have more'. I think he's totally broke now lol.

That... is much more enjoyable then laughing at some guy paying insurance.

I actually did that today, another thread had already given me this idea. So there we were, my friend and me, each in his Cargobob with his T20 hooked up.

We went through a bunch of players, only one of them blew us up. We even found two guys in a Savage, and well they were just there watching like "Nope nope nope nope, can't blow it up, nope".
Eventually we went to one of those "Distract the cops" activities, there was one more guy in there, and once it finished he decided to blow us up. Funny enough, as I expected, he was only able to blow the T20s up, yet our Cargobobs survived. Heck, mine was beeping but still somehow a tree slowed me down and I landed it without blowing up.
The guy went on trying to kill us, and we killed him as well. With him going on passive three times like a bitch, then coming out and "trying" to kill us, until he just got away in a car.

Lots of fun, indeed.

I would just get in my Hydra and shoot the Cargobob directly instead of the T20. What would be the outcome then?

 

I mean if anyone is stupid enough to HL a car being towed by the Cargobob then they deserve to pay the 27k I just personally ain't that dumb.
