Question about hosting a heist

Ok so I have gone through and hosted all the heists and completed them all. Now I am able to host any heist that I want but heres my issue. When I choose to host one of the heists a 2nd time I am stuck hosting that heist until i complete it. Is there really no way I can just host another heist WHILE hosting this one?

 

Im mostly asking because recently me and my friends decided we are going to try one of those million dollar challenges but we can't do it right now because i have to finish this current heist that I'm on before we can even start the challenge. So is there no way to abort a heist you are hosting or host multiple heists at once?

You are only able to host one Heist series until you either successfully finish it all or quit it (which you can cancel it by calling Lester). Otherwise if you have a secondary character then that's a different story.
