LeakyLine
I can't say I was big on Nintendo in my latest years, but I started gaming with Nintendo. My DS, my GameCube, my GBA....f*ck, man. My childhood was great. May you rest in peace, Mr. Iwata. Thanks for everything you've done, and most importantly, thanks for being a gamer like us. Nah nah nah Gta 6
He may have done some bad choices for Nintendo, but he made more good choices for Nintendo, he definatley kept the company alive, you can't deny he was still an awesome president for Nintendo, probably one of my favourite games he made was Kirby's Adventure on NES. Skeever
The Super Nintendo was the first gaming console I ever played, and was what got me interested in gaming as a whole. I likely would have never developed an interest if it weren't for this man. R.I.P., Satoru. You died too young.
bloatedsack
Sorry to hear the news. It's a shame that Nintendo has become a has-been in the video game industry Has it? Or is it that you've just decided you're not interested in what they're selling? The games are fun, bright, easy and deceptively hard to master while easy to play. They run fantastically out of the box, and the hardware is innovative at every step. The Wii U suffers from a lack of third party games, but I think it's because most people don't want to take the risk of putting in development time on a console with a smaller base. In turn, no one wants to buy a Wii U because it doesn't have the big name 3rd party stuff out there (yet they clamour for Nintendo to release it's IP on their platforms, instead). We bought our kids a Wii U for Christmas this year. It's refreshing to play, and the controller is so much better than anything else out there. It brings a smile to my face everytime I play a game and it's got ridiculous action, bold and bright colours and just oozes character. In turn, when I finally opened up my PS4 and experienced their "touch pad" I was really let down. Anyways, you can't walk through the Splatoon plaza without being hammered at every turn by an Inking with a superdepressing picture above his head. EnterTheRedDawn
On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer. -Satoru Iwata May have been said before, but damn. Edited July 16, 2015 by EnterTheRedDawn LeakyLine
