southparkmayor
When GTA V First came out for PC. The game ran flawlessly. The only issues were a grenade character switch crash and such. from then on Each patch would ruin the game's performance bit by bit. Im calling on programmers and such to help create a new unofficial Patch. One that would Fix ALL of GTA V's issues. This may result in lost access to GTA Online. (GTA Online is a waste anyways). R* keeps ignoring us. They seem very determined to ruin the Quality of the game with each patch. A patch that would optimize the game as much as possible. A patch that would fix all crashes. A patch that would eliminate all bugs. Barrett_killz

And btw. no one can eliminate all bugs in a game.. EvilDog77

I dont think it should be ruined by R*'s arrogance and deserves to be displayed in all it's glory.
Maxxeine
It's virtually impossible to remove every single bug in the game. Patching one bug brings in another one, and so on and so on. It's impossible to completely patch everything without causing problems. Even with a community effort, it would not be feasible. There's no true way to "patch all crashes and bugs". Optimizing? Possibly. Yes, we could patch a few bugs, maybe fix some crashes, too. But it's not possible at all to fix all of them. It would just create more problems. This is why every update, there's whole list of fixes. Every update brings along new problems. Spider-Vice and XenoxX

OP believe me we are better off letting R* make the fixes, even if that is hard to believe for you. Its incredibly hard to test every bug extensively and see what causes it. As far as crashing goes, I havent had a crash since I am on latest Drivers and Win10 Its realy all about the IGG2 Update which ruined performance. I am sure after the Weekend(so tommorrow) we can expect some sort of more detailed response from R* or a hotfix at least, seeing how far the message has been spread over reddit allready. Nick930930
lol is this OP for real? Trust me.. you do not want the community to "fix" the game for you. The community didn't make this game, they have no f***ing idea what they're doing. As much as the community loves GTAV, they know only a fraction of what Rockstar knows about how their own game works. Just be patient and let Rockstar fix THEIR game. It'll be fixed in no time. Just get a hobby in the meantime because "no time" for rockstar is like.. a good 2 years or so.

SlaveZer0
as a programmer myself, the undertaking of learning all the code and how to work with it would be huge.... we are not talking mods and hacks here but interfacing and programming the entire game on every level. in some ways it would be impossible as im sure rockstar has code in there to prevent any major changes to the full libraries of code. im not against looking into it, but I know what a pain in the ass some certain mods are to make, patching the entire game would take months. rockstar already knows all the code, wed have to learn it, dissect it, then start basically from scratch trying to write a patch. though a noble effort, I think it is unrealistic to think we could just write a patch for the game. ok im going to feed my fish now.
