Personal Vehicle "Outfits": Casual & Racing

Modifications that are suitable for racing are often not what players want on their car in free roam.

Spoilers, turbos, offroad tires, custom tires, carbon parts, etc. aren't what I want in free roam, but they look/sound good for racing.

Before you exit Los Santos Customs after customizing a personal vehicles, it should ask you which "kit" you want to save to: casual, race, or both.

The casual kit will be what you see in your garages and free roam, the race kit will be what you see in races.

This is similar to our character's saved clothing outfits.

I don't race so my cars are how I want them to look like.

I have run into this issue multiple times.

Not because I race, but because I want a rally version of my Warrener, Futo, and Stirling...

Yet they look silly when cruising with street traffic.

And I don't feel like buying doubles...

Garage tuning is something I wanted. Yes, this might not be NFS or Forza, but hell, at least we could have some simple engine-tweaking and maybe we could repair our cars in our garage for free with a little delay (1 ingame hour) or we could get them instantly repaired paying the same fee as in LSC.

We could also have the ability to choose different tuning packs. What I mean is the ability to store a set of tuning parts, such as visual modifications, performance modifications, tunables (wheel pressure, spring height, transmission, etc.), similar to how we're able to store our outfits. We could have a Futo designed purely for racing, with better grip and overall speed, but less acceleration; another setting for drifting, with more acceleration and speed, but less grip and braking; then finally another one for drag racing with a lot of HP (acceleration and speed) but less grip and practically zero braking. All of those settings would be accessible through one single Futo. No need to acquire three of them.

Also, we could have a free trial for any cars we would like to buy. Yes, a lot of people will say "Oh, you got SP for that". Well, SP is not the same as Online. You usually have other people shooting at you apart from the cops. Rented cars will have no insurance fee. It will automatically be sent back to your garage (maybe an alternative for this could be a timer on the website. When the car is destroyed, the timer stops. This could serve for anyone who wants to briefly test a car and when he/she's done with the car, he/she simply blows up the car and it's returned to the store). All upgrades for these cars would still cost money, but once the car is returned, the upgrade cost is returned to the owner.

Nope, just need to buy 3 cars (or more, or less), and (for example):

-Customized the first one for cruise in Free Roam (normal car, with only aesthetics customizations...),

-Customized the another one for Races (turbo, break, spoiler etc..),

-and customized the third for missions and war free roam (armored etc..).

And Rockstar prefer this way, because players need to have more money (but more garages too lol), and then, need shark cards (and/or to play much more missions/Activities to earn money).

More seriously, I prefer have several same vehicles, differently customized for several uses rather to have one car and the possibility to change magically their customizations just by a menu....

Because I don't buy the hyped cars, I buy the most versatile (don't know if this word is correct) and sexiest (lol) cars for free roam/missions/activities/cruises.

I thought of that how R* would want you to buy more garage space and multiples of the same car.

But using my idea in the OP we would still be paying for the modifications...
