Idea for GTA car classes.

The car classes in GTA are absolutely messed up. Here is my idea to sort it out.

Hypercars class this class would include the Progen T20, the Peggasi Zentorno, Truffdale Adder, the Grotti Turismo R, the Peggasi Osiris, The Hrotti Cheetah, the Overflod Entity XF.

Superclass this class will include the Peggasi Vacca,, the Coil Voltic, the Vapid Bullet, The Dinka Jester (Racecar), The Dewbauchee Massacro (racecar) The Annis Elegy RH8, the Dewbauchee Massacro, the Dinka Jester.

Sports class this class will include the other sports I haven't included.

Muscle class is all right in my opinion.

Sedans class fine in my opinion

Coupe class fine in my opinion

Sports Classics class is fine but could remove all the lowriders and place them in their own class.

Vans. Remove Blison as it's not a van and place it in SUV class.

Motorcycle class. Make choppers into own class. Make GT bikes in own class.

SUV fine in my opinion.

Thoughts?

Somehow this feels incomplete, is that it? Your idea to sort all car classes in this game?

Or just put the Vacca in Sports.

Only 1 Super? No dude. just no.

Bullet and Voltic should both be Sports cars, Elegy should be Supercar.

EDIT: And Vacca to sports class

I do sort of agree, but this needs a lot more tweaking.

But yeah, having the Vacca in the same class as the Zentorno and Osiris is a bit sad.

I own a Vacca and love it to death, but it's not exactly a supercar.

It's a bit of a step up from a sports car, so it doesn't really have a category...

In fact, neither does the Bullet...

Tossin Salad

don't even get me started on the bullet, what a disappointment.

the infernus sounds like a monster but I feel it doesn't get the wrap it deserves.

blackfin, muscle class hmm? but I have heard some valid reasons of it being in the class, so yeah.

What part of a Bullet and Vacca are not supercar? Their performance? That's what's this guys tryin to fix.

They look the part, sound the part, and IMO go the part. They just happen to be lumped with hypercars.

Or they could just give additional upgrades to the Bullet and Vacca and Voltic and Infernus to make them competetive with the rest of the class at an additional price.

Vendetta ™

I think it'd be nice if we had a separate class for tuners, in which the Blista Compact, Sultan and Futo shall go.

Although, we'd actually need more tuners as it's hard to justify a class with only three cars.

Just move the bullet and voltic in the sport class and put all coupe 4 doors in the sedan class.

Further the sanchez out of the offroad class.

Vacca shoud stay in the super because it is a lambo.

Further then that we neew more fast coupes and sedans, a small buff on some of the sedans and a buff on a few sport cars like the comet, carbonizarre and coquette

The reason the Vacca is in the superclass is because I feel it's performance is nowhere near the same as other rivals such as the big three. Same with the Bullet and the Voltic. These cars are not sports cars in my opinion. But they are Supercars. While I tbink putting all four door coupes is a nice idea I feel it would upset the balance of the sedan class.

I'd rather see the class system go away altogether. The way it should work is that the host picks the car he wants to race beforehand, and then the others can choose any car that has performance figures within a certain range of the host's car. So lowriders and trucks could race if they had similar stats, and the slower Supers and fastest Sports could race together. It'd make things far fairer because the cars would be more closely matched, making skill more important, and the slower cars of the current classes would actually get used outside of single-model races.

Problem is the stats of the cars are so messed up that this would never be possible.

And plus how would we get a benchmark of where a car sits? Broughy's videos?

I kind of agree.I would do this:

-put Blista Compact,Futo and maybe Penumbra to compacts

-maybe put Dilettante to sedans (since it´s a 4-door car)

-make lowriders their own class (instead of having some of them like Voodoo,Virgo and Chino in muscle, some like Peyote,Tornado and Manana in sport classics and Emperor in sedans)

-maybe also make antique cars like Roosevelt and Z-Type their own class, and have sport classics only for 50s to 80s sport cars (Roosevelt is a classic car,but not a classic sport car)

-make pickup trucks their own class (instead of having some of them like Picador,Slamvan and Rat Truck in muscle, some like Duneloader and Rebel in offroad, some like Bison and Bobcat in vans and Sadler in utility)

-make different classes for motorcycles, one class for sport bikes and street bikes (Bati 801,Hakuchou,Double T,Akuma,Carbon RS,Ruffian,Lectro,PCJ 600 and Vader),one class for choppers, cruisers and touring bikes (Daemon,Hexer,Innovation,Bagger,Sovereign,Thrust and Vindicator),one class for dirtbikes and dual sport bikes (Sanchez,Enduro and Nemesis) and one class for scooters and mopeds (currently only Faggio)

-put Voltic and maybe Bullet and Vacca in sports instead of supers

-maybe put Oracles,4-door Felon and Jackal to sedans instead of coupes

And plus how would we get a benchmark of where a car sits? Broughy's videos? You guys know that the cars have hard numbers in a stat sheet, right? The game can just be told to pick cars that are within 5% or something of the host's car's stats. Whether it's just one stat or all of them or some combination, I don't know, but I'm sure something better than the current system could be devised.

You are right, but that doesn't take into account how all of those stats combined work together. Thr hard numbers don't nessesarily translate into racetrack times. It would be way to complicated to implement, which is probably why they didn't do it in the first place.

Absolutely.

Which is why as we already have a general idea on car standings, let us buy more upgrades for the underperforming cars to bring them up to competetiveness. I want to race my Bullet against T20s and Zentornoes, and show them the old man's still got a few tricks up its sleeve. Besides I think this is the easiest way for R* to deal with this, rather than re-arrange the classes and have everyone complain again.

Yeah but who decides what cars get extra upgrades?

What this game actually needs is classification by performance, rather than the nature of the car. Off-roaders would be in an independent group with its own sub-classes for performance, of course.

Well since most upgrades improve acceleration, and the automated nature of the game's transmission means that we already have the straight line times for most cars, and those found to be underperforming get them. Unlike track times, where there are many variables, there are very little in running a car in a straight line especially in this game.

Also give all cars spoilers, or if Rockstar is lazy for modelling, just a tire upgrade that increases traction the same amount of spoilers.
