Auto deposit money in bank

95 members have voted

  1. 1. Would you like to have an option to auto deposit money from jobs into your bank account?

Recommended Posts

IMO Rockstar is without a doubt one of the best gaming companies when it comes to customer satisfaction. They've released all DLC on GTA Online for free and compensated everyone $500,000 for losing characters even if you didn't lose a character. But more importantly, they listen to their fans and add/change/fix many request simply from people asking.

So lets see if we can do it again.

Coming out of a job can be scary, especially for people with slower internet connections. You'll be slowly making your way on freeroam and you spawn dead from some troll who was in your group. I know sometimes this is a good thing. For example if some troll was purposely trying to fail the mission or someone who didn't help with the job hoping they can just get a free ride for easy money. I love killing those kinds of people and robbing them of what they don't deserve. But that also means they can do the same thing. The option to auto deposit money from jobs would be nice to have.

(And no Passive Mode doesn't work because there are so many ways around it)

Why comment something that pointless?

OT: This would be great. They do it with heist payments so why not job payments too?

Pointless perhaps to you, but it was an illustration of the absurdity of the OP's claim.

Many are NOT satisfied and to write a defacto press release that claims they are is laughable.

Well... Although the fact that we need to bank our money it's annoying.

I think if you just murdered someone or stole some drugs from some gang or even stole military hardware, your employer won't put magic money in your bank account, he'll give you a money stash for you to do whatever you want with it and then the money laundering begins lol.

Do you play a lot of other games? Because if you did you would know Rockstar is a great company. Hell I enjoy playing Payday 2 but that game has been completely unplayable for nearly a month. A game that is NOT single player and cannot let you join online players, it also would freeze every 10 seconds. They fixed the freezing a few days ago but it still doesn't work online. They declared the game was fixed and left it at that. They're also refusing to issue refunds. Forza released Horizon 2 on Xbox 360 in a broken state then told everyone the game on Xbox 360 was to receive no online support, basically means no patches or DLC (and this was AFTER the game was released). So that bug that causes crashing when switching cars is still there.

Or how about SimCity and their extremely long server downtime that requires online connection. Battlefield 4 unplayable for months and is in barely working condition right now. Or better yet look up War Z (Infestation Survivor Stories) and how they banned random people to force them to re-buy the game, released it in such a broken condition Steam took it off the store, forced players to wait 4 hours to respawn their characters but also allowed them to buy instant respawns for $5. Or an MMO that was down for a few months yet still charged money and didn't offer compensation for it. Oh better yet Marvel vs Capcom 3 charged money for patches to fix their broken game and charged money for spectator mode which was promised as free DLC. Nintendo isn't great either, they set up an automatic copyright claim for anyone with a video of their games (review, walkthrough, let's play) which steals their revenue (money) despite the laws on fair use and satire.

Believe me... I could go on and on and on. Rockstar is easily one of the best. As a matter in fact, I just recently had a problem where my heist progress was lost somehow just as I reached the final job. After playing through it again I didn't receive the first time bonus, I made a support claim and they gave me the $100,000 bonus.

Tadaaaa... And... another thread asking for the game become more and more easiest and less and less "GTA"..... (because players are so lazy to play.....).

No, because criminals are paid in cash.

They need to put their cash in a bank account or to "invest" this money in a "laundry machine" (and put the clean money into a bank account).
In fact, the possibility to transfer this "cash money" into our bank account via "phone" is already just pathetic....
In fact transfer our cash money to our bank account via an ATM it's ok, for a small amount (several thousand $ max).
But for a big amount, we should have the choice to "invest" (laundry business) this dirty cash (but ask for new development.....), and/or to put this cash (dirty or clean) only at the bank counter (these banks already exist, rockstar just need to add one NPC in these banks and one little "script" for this NPC "play" the Bank counter).

Microtransactions is the reason and no they are not they are about equally as bad as EA and Ubisoft these days.

This is a joke right, I mean there are still wallbreaches that have been there since the game released, R* won't fix these, But anything to do with them losing potential cashcard sales they will fix at the drop of a hat, Just one example.

So yeah all a moot point really.

Oh yeah and the fact that there are numerous threads on here alone about all the things R* do or rather don't do to give the gamers (People who line their pockets) a better overall experience.

I don't know... maybe as an option in the settings. Personally, it doesn't bother me as it is.

Before I figured out the Maze Bank phone transaction was an option, finding an opportunity to use an ATM while making sure players weren't sneaking up on me was actually quite a lot of fun. Almost had to 'scope out' the area before moving my cash... I might start doing that again :)

A problem with automatic money transfer if you can't speak.

Martin: Now that you have made things personal for that wiseguy, I think you deserve a little something. I will need your bank account numbers so my guys can transfer the money to your account.

Me:...

Martin: Your account number please.

Me:...

Martin: Hello? I need your bank account number.

Me:... (weird face)

Martin: Seriously, how did you end up working for me when you can't even talk, the things I do for people nowadays (mutters Spanish under breath).

I'm surprised how Lester, Agent 14 and Trevor and Ron can do it without any problems, maybe because the player writes his/her details for them.

To answer the question, yes I think it could be possible for automatic money acquisition for jobs, although it only take 10 seconds to use Internet banking to deposit all your money, so it really isn't that much of a hassle.

I never bank my money, my bank balance sits at $0.

My money is split between my two characters wallets, $4m in my 2nd as a backup fund in case R* release some expensive DLC content I must have immediately, and my main character currently has $2.something million to hand that slowly builds up from missions etc. and gets squandered on all the good things for that character.

If I get mugged that's just more of an incentive to kill him for my $10k, but on the other hand if I lose it I have millions anyway so $10k isn't that much.

Would be nice but it would wreck any and all purposes of atms and maze bank website + it would make mugger useless (kinda? no one really uses a mugger to steal money)

I actually prefer seeing my pocket cash go up as I'm playing the game. I aim for the 1 million mark and then deposit.

Also, load and play missions from IO or quickly leave the sesh with the d-pad if you play a string of missions and it for whatever reason spawns you in a public lobby.

Why not just join an invite only session, then do a job like that? When you come out you won't need to worry... or how about going into passive mode before you join the job?

and op, just host from invite only or stop complaining about losing f*cking £500.

R* is the best company, best bang for your buck. I agree op this needs to be implemented ASAP. I've been mugged / robbed multiple times.

They DO care about consumers, they are the absolute BEST with there newswire and such. I say if you kill someone right after a mission you should get BS points

Wait, how you "rob" someone?

Dont you have to call a mugger or something? Wouldnt that give you like plenty of time to load in?

I know killing someone will cause them to drop $$ but its like $500 max.

Rockstar is without a doubt one of the best gaming companies when it comes to creating games; now their customer support and network infrastructure are something else together :p

To Op's post though yeah man that would be a neat feature but not essential, but a cool idea that would be appreciated it placed (just to avoid that cash amount not being saved.)

It's already easy enough to bank cash.

Imagine if you couldn't use your phone to magically teleport all your money into a bank.

You would have people camping at ATMs to snipe those trying to frantically protect their cash.

Besides, you only lose a small percentage of cash upon death.

Imagine if you lost all held money...

If it was made an option, sure, why not? No harm there. I personally like the system now. It allows me to keep track of how much I've made in X amount of time without having to figure what I started the day with and whatever.

That's why I put an option for the auto deposit to be only for jobs that pay more money because that's the option I'd go with. If we're really going to into immersion, you can actually setup payment deposits between personal payments in real life. For example I freelance written articles and reviews, my payments come as personal deposits because I'm not actually their employee. Sure a criminal might think that's a bad idea but wouldn't it be even worse to have deposits for heist that pay tons of money rather than some low cut job? Besides it's not lazy, I wouldn't mind if the money could be stolen from me before I even join the game.

The comment on Rockstar was merely an opinion, but I think companies that genuinely try to make their customers happy deserve a shout out. They make the effort. I know for a fact if Rockstar charged money for a DLC car pack or weapon pack people would buy it. I've seen a lot of companies make money off the most stupid DLC packs. Like paying $5 for a set of armor and a weapon that you'll only use for a few days until you out-level them. People complaining about free DLC just makes me laugh.

@Fearx- They add content that you download which is basically DLC. You're right though, that's called an update.

I vote no, because I like to see my cash grow with every job I do, and then deposit into bank before I log out.

I actually withdraw money from heists into cash so I know how much I earned.

I love depositing a big amount of dollars into my account when I log out.
