How to set weapons in the weopon wheel?

What if you don't play story mode and got like 4 guns in your weapons wheel .. And half of them locked in ammunition?

are you forbidden from playing story mode or just too lazy? Only asking cause I have expert lazyness status these days and I want to know if I have competition

 

 

I have the same issue with the weapon wheel. Not laziness so much as I played the story on PS3 and can't be arsed to go through it again on PS4. I only advance the story when I get tired of seeing the same cut scene every time I DC.

R* really needs to give Online its own default weapon wheel settings (and in different modes; e.g. "on foot", "in car", etc.). It's way overdue!

Would be nice if that actually worked, but it doesn't. Walk over that weapon during a gang attack, survival, etc. and you'll pick it up again.

Same. Ive been trying to figure this out for months.

The drop weapons thing doesnt work on PC. You can drop it, but it will come back the next session ur in. Really hope R* fixes this. Support says they cant remove weapons for you either. So on PC, once you get a weapon (that isnt dlc), you are stuck with it.

Words out of my mouth.

 

Really need to bring this up to online. Really, why not?

Set them in single player then save it worked for me and I've used this method for five months.

You gotta quick save from your phone in SP for this to work. Works like a charm on PS4. Why i have to constantly toss out everything to keep only stickies in my expl wheel is a question i havent figured out an answer to. Does resupply all ammo count for expl you dont even have? I hate clutter in my wheel.

No, you quick save from your phone in SP after choosing what weapons you want in your wheel. Once thats done, you should always spawn into SP at that same save with everything set. All you have to do from there is launch GTAO. You should have all your weapons set exactly the same way as you had them in SP (outside of the brass knucks. Dont know why melee defaults to fists).
