How do you set your favourite weopons in the wheel, because its so annoying to keep looking for my favourite ones!!

Set them in single player then save it worked for me and I've used this method for five months.

Can confirm this works. Set your favorite weapons in single player, make a save file (well, I did at least lol) and once you load online, it should stay that way from now on. Very useful for PVP.

Set your fav weapons on the weapon wheel in SP,save it,and it should transfer to Online.

Oh sorry, thankyou verymuch :)

 

don't forget if you suddenly disconnected while in-game , the assigned weapon still there unless you exit the game or the console shut down

I only have one weapon in each slot except pistols, my RPG's, grenades, and assault rifles. I rarely use explosives or pistols (unless I'm in a car) so all I use is my special carbine and heavy sniper. That's all you need. :)

I also have a clean weapon wheel. One in each class except pistols (AP, normal and flare gun), heavy and snipers (silenced and heavy sniper)

I hope one day they will add a feature to setup your own weapon wheel order. But the sp thing works also pretty good

Nice to see others knew about this. The "things I never noticed until now" thread is petty damn long.. I can see how it would be easily missed.

Somehow thats gonna transfer to my online character?

The drop weapons thing doesnt work on PC. You can drop it, but it will come back the next session ur in. Really hope R* fixes this. Support says they cant remove weapons for you either. So on PC, once you get a weapon (that isnt dlc), you are stuck with it.

How did anyone not notice this?

All I notice, is when I get cropped back to SP after getting one of Rockstar's server fail messages, often my SP character (Micheal or Franklin) has no weapons, no ammo, and nothing but a f*cking broken bottle. :angry: And I have to buy them again.

are you forbidden from playing story mode or just too lazy? Only asking cause I have expert lazyness status these days and I want to know if I have competition :)

Even when booting straight to online? Will definitely try this later to check.

 

EDIT: Nope, doesn't work. You have to do this every time in SP prior to loading online character. Probably quicker to just switch weapons after loading straight to online.

Yeah extreme laziness sp is uninteresting ...literally on 2nd or 3rd mission ... Might have to get interesting now eyy
