are you talking about the the clouds on the upper left side which could be looking like land with some amount of imagination?

....if that's the case, then what the hell happened for online, where is that dedication now???

They had two seperate teams for Story/Online and the launch of online was "more than they expected". They thought the amount of servers they had was enough but it wasn't, the first month or so of launch they were adding and setting up more servers.

 

IMO, argue as much as you want but LG truly was the beta for CG and PC.

 

Yet LG ran better, little to no connection problems and no lag... someone , somewhere isn't keeping up with their own success...

I wouldn't say it was better, not even neutral. I evetually stopped playing on LG a few months before CG came. Constant freezes and lag spikes, random dropped connections, constantly running into spawned objects modded into Freeroam. God mode glitchers and so on. (PS3)

 

Worst I've experienced of LG on CG(PS4) is dropped connections which only happens when it's 30 player lobbies or it saying my friend who is rank 268 hasn't completed the tutorial so inviting is disabled but he can invite me no problems.

Most likely that is a representation of how San Andreas really is without game limits (endless ocean). Rockstar, in fact, has always stated that the maps aren't really islands: For us gamers, they are designed like that, but "officially" they are attached to the mainland.
