Is this The Guy?
Was looking for some place to post the most recent news. I saw this on CNN and just had to post it somewhere. Thought it was something worth discussing. http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/12/world/mexico-el-chapo-escape/index.html?sr=fb071215mexicoelchapoescape342aStoryLink Guzman heads the Sinaloa cartel, which, according to an opinion piece by the author Don Winslow that was published last month by CNN, is by far the most dominant drug traffiicking organization in Mexico today. The heroin epidemic in the northeastern United States is supplied largely by the Sinaloa cartel, Winslow wrote. In Mexico, the diminutive Guzman became a larger-than-life figure as he eluded authorities while expanding a drug empire that spanned the world. His life story became the topic of best-selling books and the subject of adoring songs known as narcocorridos. In the United States, he is wanted on multiple federal drug trafficking and organized crime charges. His nickname, which means "Shorty," matches his 5-foot-6-inch frame. Ai®a©ob®a
I'm just hoping to hear that they landed a Helicopter in the yard and flew him out... Guards at the Altiplano Federal Prison discovered during a routine check on Saturday that Guzman, who known as "El Chapo," was missing, a statement from the commission said. Those guards knew he was gone long before they "discovered" him missing. He paid people off to look the other way Edited July 12, 2015 by Troubadour Slam_Jones, Smesi and Finn 7 five 11

RussianCommie
I'm not surprised at all that he escaped a second time. His first escape in 2001, he hid in a laundry cart and managed to get through all the guards, so this second escape was simply a matter of when. If I recall, he got caught in Feburary 2014, I would say that I am kind of surprised that it took this long. With the chance of politicians and prison officials both being paid off, if this comes to light, I honestly would not be surprised at all.

J-B
Escaped, bribed his way out, same difference. I'm sure some Government officials have a little thicker wallets as result of this "escape". It's funny that people talk bad about Mexico, and it's people but at the same time they go on holiday to Mexico.... Yeah, but they vacation in the sanitized resort towns, and still try to pretend that they're all the more worldly as a result. Yeah, but they vacation in the sanitized resort towns, and still try to pretend that they're all the more worldly as a result. I don't like IS(IS) so I don't go to ''their'' country. If you know what I mean? What people do these days is judge a whole country, religion or certain group on what a few do. I know El Chapo is a Mexican, but does that make every Mexican an illegal immigrant or drugdealer/lord? Don't forget (not specific towards you) El Chapo has done some good things for his area, just like Pablo Escobar did many years ago in Colombia. As a druglord once said: If the Americans want to stop us to smuggle and sell them drugs, they should start with their own people. The United States is the biggest customer of our illegal drugs. All we do is supply what they ask for. Ruin

Unless they were in the process. Should have learned from his first "escape" where he supposedly even paid off the warden The U.S. suggested to Mexico in 2014 when he was captured again of extraditing him to the U.S. because they were concerned that he would escape again from prison. Mexico told the U.S. that they would not extradite him and that they were perfectly capable of handling the situation. If they can do something about the bad areas and help the poor the less go into the narcotic bussiness. I'm almost sure about that. It look like, the less money a country spend on things that matter, the more ''criminals'' it gets.
