Random Free Roam Events Stopped

Ever since the patch 1.28 of Ill Gotten Gains Part 2. The random free roam such as like distract from cops, destroy vehicle for lester, and smuggler planes have all stopped. Very rarely now I bump into a session where one of these is going on. Is it just super rare now or is just dependent on the session? I cannot get my awards done because of this

I think it has gone back to the usual style similar to Lester asking for kill target.

I assume its back to an event every 48 minutes. Lets stop putting fun stuff to do with your friends in FR, so people get bored and kill each other and waste $ on ammo, and have to buy more shark cards. Lame.

Once every 48 minutes of 'same session/lobby' time.

 

Not many people can stay in the same lobby for 48 minutes to find out that random FR events even still work. It took me a night of being bored when I first got my AK, and went on a store robbing binge. I noticed it only because I had immediately sold a car at the beginning of the sesh and right around the time I was looking for the next sell time a random FR event popped up...

No they haven't! I'm on PS4 and did a Purple Circle and Smuggler Plane yesterday and today. Refresh your game.

More than likely they broke it (along with the crate system.)

 

I have noticed a huge glitch that has affected me only after the ILLG2 update; my (digital) copy of Gta5 on Ps4 crashes constantly (I can't remember the error code started with a capital 'C'). I specifically notice it happening either when I am accessing my friend menu through Gta5 and when I am inviting someone to my lobby in invite only lobby.

 

My friends have confirmed they are suffering similar consistent crashes and getting stuck in the cloud so I would bet Rockstar just broke their game in the process of updateing it ....again lol lets all just keep sending tickets so they know this is a wide spread glitch they need to fix..

The random events are gone. The were part of the igg2 release I guess. It was to easy to earn $$$ so they switched it off.

Players were still killing each other at the same rate then as they are now, especially with the "if I can't have it, no-one can" mentality that most people have towards free mode events.

 

These cash card theories are getting more and more ridiculous by the day.

 

The random events are gone. The were part of the igg2 release I guess. It was to easy to earn $$$ so they switched it off.

 

It's still very easy to make money outside of free mode. Plus, R* left that tunable on for about a week longer than they'd planned.

It was fun while it lasted. In the last two days I only saw one destroy vehicle and two armored trucks. At least there are double payouts for racing which is great.

As well as smuggler planes/helicopters, target vehicles, Simeon's car requests and cop distraction for Lester.
