Ryba15
It is possible to get two different configuration of radiosity for vertex color and vertex ilum(night vertex color) in 3ds max, and export it to dff? I have problem because when I paint model in Vertex Paint(to get model darker at night), some objects are invisible(some pipes which use this same texutre like wall behind, are blend into the background)How it's look when I use Vertex Paint Helper script When I use Assign Vertex Colors in Vertex Paint Modifier this pipes are visible, but model have this same color for day and night, and that is a problem. Rented
Okay so you CAN paint shadows and your only issue is that it is the same brightness both day and night? Then what you will need to do is export two models, one with the day brightness and the other with the night brightness When you finalized the illumination you can merge the two .dffs with this tool By the way it's invisible because you don't have any textures applied to it so your brain is confused, but you should also watch some illumination/prelight tutorials. Ryba15
By the way it's invisible because you don't have any textures applied Pipes and wall behind use this same texture but it's not shaded(I think so), so I use Assign Vertex Colors in VertexPaint modifier, but when I use that, vertex color was assign to all channels so I can't use NVCMerge tool - because my dff file use NVC already. The best solution for my problem would be assign vertex color only for one channel(then I could set different light setting for Vertex Color and Vertex Ilum channel) but it's probably impossible to do this. Rented
You can select faces to apply the paint to, there is also a brush tool. Ryba15

Sorry for the bump. but can you provide that DFF merging tool on a new link? This one is broken and it's something I need at this time. Thx in advance.
